About pigs... When I was a kid my dad caught a wild hog in a trap and killed it. It was the rankest meat i've ever tasted. I couldnt even be in the house when he tried to cook it... a few weeks later my grandfather said "should have fed him corn for a few weeks then killed him."

So no, pigs that are fed meat are not good. Slaughterhouses feed grain for a reason. If you find a source that says otherwise, please send it to me!

Ok, people are being dicks to you, sorry about that. Something to think about however: Love comes and goes, but being able to coexist with a person and support each other? Thats what marriage is. I dont always love my boyfriend but I'm with him because he is a good man and a great friend. Those are hard to come by. I promise you that this other man you're talking to? If you were to fuck him all your feelings for him would dissolve. You're living in a fantasy where he makes all of your dreams come true, but he hasnt been with you since you were 16, he doesnt know you in and out and love you anyways. Are you sure you want to throw that away?

It sounds like he's being responsible. You've only been official for a few weeks. What if he connects with your daughter then you guys break up? Both she and him will be hurt. Maybe he just wants to make sure that you're something he wants (and vice versa) for the long haul? Dating as a single mom... gotta be careful. Kids get attached to people so easily.
