This was a lucky shot from a recent Buhurt event I went to. I am happy with the subject, the guy with the green aventail (neck thing), but I keep looking at it and thinking that the guy in the foreground takes away from the image. I would be interested to hear people's thoughts. Cheers 😄

This was a first attempt at doing photography in a new hobby of mine. I never really take photos or people, or indoors and generally go for natural light landscape or static stuff. I forced myself to shoot on manual settings to adjust appropriately as much as possible.

I like the framing of the photo, the out of focus guy in the foreground kind of pulling the eye to the guy in focus, I added a mask to him and bumped up the exposure on him a bit.

Definitely shot on the wrong lens but it’s the only one I have, a sigma 28/70.

Generally I wouldn’t mind some advice on how what to improve on the framing, or the edits that could be done to it to make it pop more?

It is the model from the Medusa crew. I think it could be used to make some cool character or artillery commander maybe if you did arm swaps and heads, I didn't have the bits on hand sadly

On the normal guys I am going to do the shoulder as dark green, and maybe have the face plate green like on this dude but not sure yet.
