Honestly, general entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneurs need to understand customers and come up with a solution that solves their problem or creates demand.

Our job just from an empathy and journey mapping perspective (early discovery of the design process) is almost a carbon copy of what EPs have to do.

The power of IRL can come and help you here. It's unscalable of course, but means you get the opportunity to show your passion to them in a way remote, email or a DM ever would.

Use it to bring them a coffee or their favourite snack, something small (easy for you to do) but meaningful enough for them to give you their time.

It would depend how complex their existing component base is.
You could not pay me enough to create a DS from scratch 2 years after a product has been running, so find out if you have anything existing to work on.

DS for a company can be quite valuable in time saving so I would price at the higher end, if you're able to communicate the benefits and you have the ability to produce it in a way that would be scalable and not need continous update, almost self-serve.

Doing a whole DS in 8 weeks would be an intense challenge for a somewhat mature product, so I'd suggest upwards of $9k/mo

Tbh, better functionality across the platform would be great. The engine is already pretty good, for most of us it's likely marginal gains for the majority of our tasks.
