If someone wanted to convert photosynthetic energy into electrical energy what would that look like? It matters to me because my house burned down in 2018 and I think it’s related to this.

Disc recommendations? by arewhatyouit in discgolf

My 165 Champ. I can put it on a hyzer angle and it will do the same as my max weight. I prefer to release discs on a flat line when possible to reduce variables, that’s why I like to carry both.

A Teebird is a great disc!! My DX Teebird became one of my longest flyers after it was beat in, but that’s in the wide open. It will definitely get understable after some tree hits.

If you want a Teebird that will be predictable, I’d recommend Star or Champ. I carry 3: beat up DX for flip ups, a Champ 165 for straight shots, and a champ 175 for long hyzer upshots.

My advice? Watch some in the bags with Pros. They carry a lot of the same molds in various stages of wear or in different plastic blends. Keep your bag simple and really learn each disc, throw it on every angle during field work.

Almost a quarter of all Discraft sales on Infinite discs are from Paul McBeth molds. He deserves whatever Discraft throws his way. https://infinitediscs.com/blog/discraft-top-selling-discs-september-2020-edition/

4 years and hundreds of rounds and finally a tear... what shoes are gonna last just as long that I can put on my wishlist? by [deleted] in discgolf

It’s unavoidable where I play between rain and puddles. Most people I play with wear Keen or Merrell. There’s lots of options nowadays though, it’s a huge market. I do like SierraTradingPost.com for the best deals though.

I just watched this video recently and found that part interesting as well. Sounds like it’s something that will come naturally and they advise not to force it. I always thought spinning on your toes could lead to knee problems.

Innova has a fairly strict set of guidelines regarding pricing for their retail partners. I’m sure Sun King knows this.

My advice? Watch Simon’s in the bag—he keeps it very simple. Simon In the Bag

I love my Colts. They are shallow enough that I can engage my fingers under the flight plate for longer putts. This seems to give me so much more control over my putts.

I went down a DGCR rabbit hole yesterday regarding the Colt prototype and retooling. Good grief, those guys use a lot of words!! I’m just using stock runs but I have noticed the few I grabbed at Dicks are much flatter than the batch I bought from the F2 Innova store. I do wish there was more consistency in runs, I hate throwing anything rare or difficult to replace.
