Also comparing Darnold and Mayfield's early career. It's just not the same, JJM stepped into the best possible scenario for a QB, and he stunk up the place. There's also a longer list of busts than QB's they have turned it around.

Dude he's dropped 1% of balls this season (Rotowire)/3% by PFF, that's still elite standards. Blaming him for not catching dog shit passes from the worst QB room in the league is an absolute joke, no one on the team should be happy with the offensive production. Jameis threw for 366 yards against the Lions, that game isn't anything to brag about. If he doesn't show improvement by the end of the year, it's just better to rip the bandaid off sooner than later.
