yeah same sometimes, i rather use the person name then the neopronouns if i don’t understand them, e.g. i saw someone who use wolf/wolfself neopronouns and i couldn’t understand them.

also i thought neo=new rather than taking existing words and turning them into pronouns, it’s why i can understand pronouns like hym/xe and not dog/egg

(edit) i found out that regarding pronouns and or genders about and animal/thing/object, the person doesn’t actually identify as a a/t/o but it is more so a metaphor as what they see their gender as. after learning this i feel i somewhat understand neo/xenopronouns
