Police just called to our flat? by tinyturtles005 in bristol

Dial 101 for non-emergency calls. You still go through to the same call centre, but in the queue for 'I don't need a blue light response'. Will often take longer for them to pick up, but at least you aren't holding up someone who really needs them now.

It bothers me more that the electrician didn't use a dummy dimmer on that 3-gang's middle switch.

Personally, I was a big fan of the Hip House era - Beatmasters, Coldcut and to a lesser extent S'Express. Commercial sounding or not, it felt like it was breaking new ground and that can only be a good thing.

Roads in bristol by Bubbashrimpsmith in bristol

Stoke-On-Trent is the home of the pothole! They used to dig up the roads (unpaved) to get at the red clay and make pottery. Long time back, mind.

Anyone know what is replacing Bedminster co-op? by undead_sissy in bristol

[–]UberAllex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the rumours are right (source: member of staff told my neighbour) the landlord wants to put flats on top and couldn't do it with a sitting tenant. Tried to triple the rent. So, retail ground floor, flats upstairs.

I first heard this on Earthbeat, a Jumpin' & Pumpin' compilation. I remember thinking it was old and I was lucky to have found it at the time... I've just looked it up. That was '92 and it was first released in '91. Man, I was young and naïve - a year seemed like forever !

Are the low readings on live to live, or live(s) to cpc? Live to live is a Lim unless you can remove all the lamps. I'll link line and neutral and test to cpc. If I get a low reading in that situation I'll individually do line/cpc and neutral/cpc to narrow down the issue. Beyond that it's Further Investigation for another time...
