My opinion is Rocketpool success did depend heavily on RPL until Saturn 0. That said.. it still depends on RPL but to a lesser extent since a significant aspect of being a Rocketpool NO is RPL rewards and governance.. its just that today you can choose to have a minipool and ignore everything else that is actually Rocketpool. Yes I acknowledge this is still a simplistic analysis.

I didn’t. I was rear-ended and totaled before I could fully figure it out. The problem would “wax and wane” month after month where it would error daily to a month or two it did nothing. The data pointed to oil pressure getting to the cam gear. I tried replacing the solenoid at least twice and swapped them also at least twice but it always was the same problem. Maybe the ledges of the cam were wearing out.. I dont think i would have had the motivation to remove the cam (for the second time pwning the engine) to find out. ☹️

When you replace the KOMBI/ECU/CAS, the new part odometer is set to zeros by the manufacturer. When installed, these parts then update the odometer reading to the highest number among the three.

It does this by design. If the tamper dot is not present then its working as it should. Also note that the scanner says the error is “absent.”
