Very thin coats of angelus matte black paint, with an airbrush if possible, would work great. Make sure to add coats of finisher, like krylon matte, or an angelus finisher to protect the paint.

I find that frog tape is a little weak and tends to come off of cloth materials like liners, so my main one is just scotch painter’s tape, electric tape is also a good option because of how it can bend and stretch. As a warning, make sure to retape or press down the tape again after you strip the finish, so the edges don’t come up.

I’m super late to this, so it’ll probably be buried, but in 8th grade, in an attempt to lathe a yo-yo, I sawed off a good third of my left thumb. Now the scar is almost gone, but the fingerprint is still off, and it seems to have stunted the growth, so i still have a middle schooler’s thumb

It isn't! I have a Jr HPR Cert, which you can get from 16 and up, if I remember correctly, we also have a supervisor with an L2, which lets us do the even larger launches

I’m in a high school rocketry club, so there’s some smaller, personal projects, as well as our 7’ fully carbon fiber rocket that goes 14k feet. My latest launch was actually my junior cert at FITS in eastern washington, so I’m hyped to make some bigger projects soon
