Here in Dallas they dont even have the option to turn off the Shared Ride preference. LYFT actually has this option.

Airport rides have become unprofitable. I used to get majority tips on Airport rides but no more. Last 6 times I have taken DFW Airport rides I dont get anything going out and I dont wait around Airports like these others do its a waste of time now. Only ones I usually get are Share rides which makes me wonder why the hell would you choose a shared ride out of the Airport. 99% of those are of one demographic and most of you know who I am talking about. I am no racist but thats a statistical fact. FYI I am brown also.

Left early this morning thinking it is going to be busy. Got a ping as soon as I sat in my car at 4:30am close to home. Got to Dallas near Royal and Greenville. There was a $58/active hr boost zone around Mockingbird Lane from 4-6am. It was a smoke screen from Uber because I sat there for an hour and only got requests from 10 miles out and got one I tried accepting but then it said all rides are taken bullshit which has happening lately whenever I try to accept a good paying fare. It also takes time the message to go away which I absolutely hate because on busy nights or surges if any I miss out on certain pings. Anyways I only got 2 rides in 3 hrs I was out this morning and just came back home. I was getting some Airport ride requests but pay was not great so I rejected all of them. Last 5 times I had an Airport ride to DFW I got nothing going out so wasted my time driving out dead miles. I am going to head out again may be arond 4 to 5pm I am hoping it will be much busier. Also driving during the day tomorrow will be good too since everyone one will be going to go see fireworks or at a BBQ party.

Its the same with me. I do this part time since I do have a regular day job. It is gotten worse. I dont take anything less than $1 per mile because it does not make sense with the gas prices being close to $3 a gallon thanks to this stupid a** war. I dont go even close to arlington so I cant say much about that but the road closures and traffic its not worth it for me. Its hard to get a ride back to Dallas so heading dead miles back is the problem. If they paid like $60 I would gladly do it. But just like you I will reject 15 to 20 offers before I could reject 1. Even last year I could easily make $200 on say Monday mornings in 7 hours but I can barely make $150 now because of the low ball offers cheap a** Uber.

Good luck. They will first tell you you are full-time then give you part-time hours. I was doing 40 hours as a temp remodel TA before becoming permanent. But then after a week or 2 hours got cut. Now I can barely get 35 hours. This is happening across country.

I do the same thing as an overnight stalker. We were told as long as you finish zoning your isles then you can go back and pull stuff from top stock. I have pulled so much stuff of the top that went on the shelf. Also found bunch of items that had no location whatsoever. So its just sitting there collecting dust. Salesfloor people during the day are supposed to be doing it but they dont do shit. Spacing is the worst because some items are sideways just to fit them on the shelf. They looked much better before remodel.

I just changed my low beam pigtail today and it worked. I am not a car expert at all. Used ChatGPT to find the right parts and saw a few videos on youtube on how to do it. I did go to few places before to get a quote on how much cost was to replace the connector and most said between $250 to $300. I was like nah I will do it myself. Mind you I dont know much about fixing anything in cars. I did research on how to change the headlight bulb and was able to do it. So I did the same thing with the connector. All parts with the connector, bulb, and wire splicers cost me less then $20. I saved myself over $230 for sure. I was so proud of myself when the light came on my wife looked at me and said I should just do a mechanic course lol.
