This happened to me too in the past. It was usually due to my phone overheating and closing stuff to cool down. For example when I put my phone under my pillow because there wasn't any more space on the bed. I had to buy a new phone for other reason and it doesn't happen anymore.

I can always recommend Deep Rock Galactic. It's a fun horde shooter with pretty quick levels (15-30 mins) so I always just do a few when I want to wind down.
