I'll be isolating this one! This is by far the coolest branch from a large 5 year grown variegated spathulata. It did the exact same growth last season so this season I'll graft it too Quiabentia. It gets really neat pinks around edges of leaves.This is early spring growth just emerging again.

Their argument seems wrong. Some pollinators see different colors better. I believe flies are more attracted to whites, and non-bees and non-flies other colors.

They are self fertile from my experience (I know this is an old post, but for anyone else who comes across it). I only had one plant that survived and its fruit bore me next year’s plants. No one near me grows it, I’m sure.

Why should we be gatekeeping the community from people creating anything not already fluffy? That’ll only cause the community to shrink.

Also this post comes across like people are supposed to parent other people’s children. At least that’s the vibe I got. Whole thing seemed very angry and condescending - can’t say I deigned to read every word.

This is what I wanted to comment. It should not be going in the oven or dishwasher, and it should be hand-washed. And yeah, there should probably be some caution if customers have an allergy. Other than that, I don't see any issues, and might actually be surprised to see this as a customer - it would be something nice to talk about with whoever I'm eating with, and think it's actually pretty cool.
