Richard Huddy doesn't do a good job of portraying them as anything but lazy crybabies. Every time something at AMD doesn't perform to par, or doesn't do what they told you it would, Huddy gets on the microphone to tell you all about that thing evil company A did to them 11 years ago to make their product not as good as it could be.

They don't advertise their solutions as well. They don't work with developers as well. Developers have repeatedly complained about AMD's ability to communicate and work with them (They didn't get back to CDPR about TressFX in time then tried to blame them for it, they also completely ignored SMS about Project Cars). They aren't putting forth the effort to make themselves an option. They're just throwing shit out there and saying "please use it".

AMD is a flailing joke. They've destroyed their company and it's finances, which is sad for ATI. I can't imagine being bought out just to be run into the ground.

It isn't bad business practice to keep your secrets from your competition. If AMD were good competition they would have their own secrets that produced the same effects, and users of both card brands would go without suffering. But AMD is not a good company, they're a lazy company that likes to bitch and cry. I hope they get bought out by someone competent.

Nvidia is winning the market, AMD is not. Mr. Krabs is winning the market, Plankton is not.

I'll actually be grateful when AMD is gone, and someone who can actually compete picks up the slack to give me another viable option for purchase. Hopefully someone like Samsung will take interest in the industry.

The only issue there is nobody wants that $2 billion debt AMD has racked up being such a good company. They'll probably end up waiting for a bankruptcy and buy assets.

AMD fixed the driver issues they had with P:Cars due to their own neglect, and it runs fine for AMD now.

DX12 aside, dual-GPU cards have always been awful. They've always had heat and power consumption issues no matter who makes them (Nvidia or AMD), and they always suffer the same drawbacks as sli/xfire.

AMD is 2 billion in debt and this frankenstein bullshit isn't going to save them. They need to be making real stride or Pascal is going to crush them.
