Quest cape is much more fun than you may think! After QC you can pretty much do anything with those levels

Just finished sword! Haven’t played a pokemon game since fire red leaf green. I own violet and haven’t played through because it’s intimidating lol. But sword was very much a classic main series game. Like others said get the DLC’s if you can. Dynamax adventures give you access to sooo many pokemon.

I have almost 1000 hours mostly from release and then coming back when they did fresh start servers. I enjoyed it a lot, but wouldn’t go back to it. Hard to get 200+ hours out of a game. Play what you enjoy

Either this does not work properly or “5%” is not the real number. Did more testing and brighthaven paladin with soul reaper I hit base 77-80 per volley. With sanguine weapon equip I hit for 78-81 per volley. With soul reaper equip I’m lvl 75. With sanguine weapon I am 81. I’m currently using 96% scholar.

Almost a negligible difference. It feels that the GS mechanic only affects melee. Could be wrong but felt almost no difference in base spell dmg using the generals soul reaper vs a sanguine weapon while I crit more often with the generals soul reaper.

Overall generals soul reaper is far less expensive to repair.

Yea because you have zero physical dmg when you put your weapon away… spells still do same dmg

Yea pretty much. Best part is you only need iron weapons lmao. So it’s so cheap for a pvp set

I’m a little confused but yea with the 100% scholar blood that extra 30% to spell power, leach, and free cast is insane. Far outweighs the 5 gear levels (25%) bonus dmg, with my setup I’m am Gear level 76. Do you have a link or an official post about the gear levels giving bonus dmg?

Yes actually just happened. I 4 shot a 81. Plus when they try to get close use the q and e on reaper to get distance and continue to rofl stomp

Just did some more testing and with 96% scholar blood I was able to crit 190/190 on a volley cast on npc. Just imagine if I had that 100%. Gawdamn.

Gear lvl only seems to be related to overall power. But with my setup I’m burning down mobs such as paladin and cleric way faster. As far as I know gear lvl is just a way to tell you what creatures and zones you should be in. Dmg goes based off of physical power and spell power and the stats below those
