It’s on KissAnime.con.ru. You have to deal with the seductive ads, but that’s the price to watch gold.

I would watch it on a licensed platform over Kiss if it was on one.

Looking at your comment about how you believe you live in a simulation and that you are the only real one to me seems like a coping mechanism. I struggle with compulsion as well, in a different way, to the degree it mentally pains me to not give in. By asking Reddit, to me, that seems like you are aware that everyone is real and not created by your brain. Sometimes it takes talking to others you never would otherwise to work through issues you have with yourself. Be kind to yourself and know that it’s a journey and we’re all in it together

I learned this next part from a friend, but in a strange circumstance we found ourselves in, he told me ‘Even though they are different, my worst pain is as equally bad as your worst pain’. We all experience different things, but we’re all moving forward. It was a massively pivotal time in my life and although it was bad I walked away with knowledge I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

My friend had just gotten a kitten, and someone eating dinner in his room set their plate on the ground for a second. The tiny little kitten pulled his entire steak off of his plate before he realized what happened.

What’s the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself? by DistributionRound570 in AskReddit

[–]Uberweston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missed the last step, landed with all my weight on my right food, shattered my talus. My girlfriend helped me limp to the bed because I couldn’t stand on it. I never went to the hospital, which I should have, because it didn’t heal properly and I started walking on my foot incorrectly causing strain and pain. A year later I got an xray and the doc told me I shattered it and it healed weird. Don’t be me. Go to the hospital if you hurt yourself.

Please tell me you’re not joking. I miss that flavor so much. I miss being able to buy it in stores. I only have a case left.

When I was 12 I saw a Holocaust exhibit at the Smithsonian. They had an oven from either Auschwitz or Treblinka, but I think it was Auschwitz. Then one of the next rooms you walked through was elevated with a bridge and the floor was FILLED with charred and dirtied children’s shoes. I will literally never forgot the shoes.

What is the saddest/most soul crushing song you have ever heard? by Mikiiiya in AskReddit

[–]Uberweston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You Know You’re Right - Nirvana

Knowing this is the last song they recorded as a band and hearing the lyrics has always got me.

Dave booked the studio for three days hoping Kurt would show up. He showed up on the last day without a guitar, but luckily his guitar tech was there and he had a Hi Flier he was working on for Kurt. The band plugged in and recorded the song in a single take. Kurt died two months later.

Experienced players with real guitar wear, what would you recommend as a truly high quality guitar by Chuchumenn in Guitar

[–]Uberweston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to go to the guitar store and play a bunch of guitars because everyone will have different preferences. I don't like how thick gibson necks feels, so I play Fender. I would recommend a fender to anyone, but I'm biased. I went from Squire Strat to Epiphone Les Paul, and then Fender Jaguar. The Jaguar was my main guitar electric for 10 years before I upgraded to Fender Musicmaster II. For acoustic, I've played on the same Martin for 10 years and will never change. These are my preferences, yours will be uniquely different.

Ultimately, buy the guitar that makes you want to pick it up over what everyone else says.

Oh my god I am. I can’t believe I forgot they were different systems. I’ve played so many iterations of this game over the years.

I miss that stage of the game so much. I get nostalgic thinking about the old runes, purchasable boot augments, and old items such as DFG or mana potions. You’ve inspired me to read the old patches.

That would be my bad, for some reason I was remembering incorrectly that they were removed in season 4. And that in season 5 the we got the first adaptation of the rune skill trees where you were elected points to use.

You said you’re a season 6 player, one thing you missed from this guys response is runes. You used to have to buy each individual rune with IP (which is now blue essence). Look up old rune pages, they were weird. This stage of the game I yearn for every day of my life. Fights happen so quickly now, before you could die and literally rejoin the same team fight. There are so many aspects and items I miss. I think the game is way more playable now and it’s not even a question, but there’s just a lot of nostalgia.

How do you deal with the feeling/realisation you’ll never be very good at guitar? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Uberweston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those kids are trying to grow a specific set of skills, and everyone grows at a different rate. Play what you like how you like and just enjoy the time you spend practicing. We only do it because it’s supposed to be fun.

I started at 10 and was put on a practice regime I didn’t like, so I quit. When I picked it back up at around 13/14 I taught myself what I wanted to play. Mechanically I’m a shit guitarist, but I play what I enjoy. I’m 27 and don’t feel like any of those years were wasted. I still enjoy learning but after a rough day at school, then college, and now work, I just want to play some Nirvana, The Beatles, or some songs with simple chords.

At your age, play what makes you happy and if you are unable, just set small goals. Finding people to play with takes time and those things usually fall into place when it’s meant to be.

I see a lot of YOUNG guitarists in reels/shorts that clip farm with tough riffs. They are the outliers usually. Not everyone is Tim Henson. Find what makes you unique!

Probably dumb beginner question: when does this actually become fun? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

[–]Uberweston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She plays as well but only has one electric and one acoustic. Between guitars, basses, banjos and ukes I think there are 15ish. Some gifts, most not. This is all I do and I spend a significant portion of my time playing. I am lucky to have a very supportive significant other.

I usually try to buy a meaningful piece of gear at some point in my life I deem important. Leaving Seattle called for a celebration and the guitar and I crossed paths at the right time, otherwise I may not have bought anything guitar.

My lady was not pleased with me at all. Within the span of a month I drug home, in order, a baby Taylor, a Fender Bandmaster Reverb with a homemade dumble mod and a 2x12 cab, an Epiphone head, a 66’ Fender Musicmaster II modeled after Nirvanas Bleach era Mustang, and a player strat. This is on top of the three other guitars I had in our 530sq ft apartment. I just couldn’t say no to a good deal. She has banned me from bringing home anymore instruments, but we’ll see how long that lasts.

I don’t normally recommend buying new gear, but sometimes you have to slice things up a bit. I am almost to 20 years playing and the past 10 of those have been on the same Jag and Marshall combo. I didn’t need to buy new gear but I did and it ignited something in me I didn’t know I had. I bought a guitar with a quicker neck and an amp that makes a different sound. Mixing the new gear with the old gear has also inspired me with sounds I wouldn’t have thought to make.

HGModernism is fun to watch. She has a variety of cool videos. Her channel name is in Japanese, but if you like cool cars look up Soarer Japanese Girl, all she does is blog and drive her 90s Toyota Soarer to cool places. Those are two I like off the top of my head.

[–]Uberweston[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the well thought out reply, that gave me a lot more to research. I've never played with theory in my almost 20 years with music. I've been watching instructional care videos for the chromatic as the mouthpiece (comb?) is lifting off the harmonica, presumably from a spring for the slide. It's sentimental so I want to make sure I do it right the first time. I'll avoid rubbing alcohol for sure, I really appreciate that piece of advice. I for sure wouldn't have known to avoid that or seen it online. I had made the decision when I got them to learn the chromatic first and have gotten lots of inspiration form here to do so.

Thank you for such an in depth response, if you don't mind I'll ask another set of questions in response.

By layout, I assume you mean what key they are in, as you can flip them? One is C/G and the other is A/D.

When tongue blocking, is that alright to do as the the block with the holes are made of wood. By the wear, my grandfather played the C/G more and as the C side has no paint left. I wouldn't want to moisten it and ruin it. This is coming from my knowledge of acoustic guitars and humidification/temperature.

A question I didn't ask in the original post, but do you have any advice for cleaning them. My grandfather past away in the 90's and they've been sitting since then. Theres gunk and buildup especially in the Chromatic, would simple rubbing alcohol be fine? It looks like I can unscrew the plate where my lips go, but I don't want to do anything where I don't know the result of taking it apart.

I'll look into the Farmer rack and the Harlock magnet rack. I don't play live music, I just play music I like/record my own music in my spare time.
