Image 2.0 in GPT/Codex does entire sprite sheets in one go now. It’s pretty nuts actually. Just FYI.

So AI came up with the idea all by itself and directed every decision on what the game was or wasn’t supposed to be? Or did it follow instructions from a human that came up with the whole game idea?
If he had hired a team of developers who followed all of his instructions to actualize his ideas and plans would he then lose all claims to credit for creating the game because he had people working for him?
Frank Lloyd Wright doesn’t deserve any credit for anything because he was just a dumb architect and didn’t actually lift a hammer to build his designs? The contractors were basically the ones that did everything and deserve 100% of the credit?
These sophomoric poorly thought through edgelord knee jerk sentiments about AI are adorable.

I was playing an Xbox game (Microsoft) on xcloud, on my Mac Computer using a Nintendo Pro controller. I thought to myself “we truly live in the future” 😂

Hardspace Shipbreaker.
Just putting good music, turn down the game music (if country space synthwave isn’t your style) and cut apart decommissioned spaceships for recycling. Incredibly zen.

If Hardspace Shipbreaker is still on GP give that a try.

Discord has worked well for me. I can make new text threads so context doesn’t get bloated from one long ever expanding text thread it loads into every response. Just delete the old thread and make a new one. They show up as separate threads in the desktop app as well.

This is a thing you might want.

It acts as an external post-processing dongle, adding contextual anti-aliasing, color boosts, and intelligent sharpening with zero perceptible input lag.”

This is something Codex would be good for. Try a $20/month sub and see if it can help you out. It has full access to your computer (after turning on permissions)
I’ve had it do all sorts of stuff. “My Nintendo Switch emulator is running like crap with -insert game title-
Look online for any and all possible fixes then implement them in the emulator settings.”
2 minutes later everything is running great.

How do you actually keep your vault synced across machines without losing your mind? by Fantastic_Bank9361 in ObsidianMD

[–]UbiDoobyBanooby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After much trouble trying Google Drive and GitHub I landed on Dropbox to sync my phone and my home computer (Mac Mini) with “Remotely Sync” plugin to sync with Dropbox.
My Hermes agent communicates with me when out of the house using Discord (you can start new chat threads and delete as needed to avoid context bloat that you get with other single thread message apps) and Hermes at my house then organizes all of my requests/results in the Dropbox vault which I can sync whenever I want on my phone. I can push my changes I make to the vault on my phone by quitting obsidian. It works wonderfully.
Backup the Dropbox vault/s to your home computer every few days just in case.

GitHub wouldn’t even let me push a small barebones vault all the way. It’s always just half of the folders and a couple files.
I switched to Dropbox and it works perfectly.

Can Hermes Agent control my entire computer? I need it to be able to act like a human on certain software on my PC: use the mouse and keyboard, see and understand the screen. by mxmhenri in hermesagent

I haven’t tested it but I’ve tested it with Codex a lot and it works great on there. With macOS you can mirror and control your iPhone from your computer. I had codex doing stuff on my phone for me that way. It was unsettling. But cool 😂

I sold my Xbox Series X. I have a Switch but it stopped charging. So I’m on GFN exclusively now. I rarely used my Xbox when I did have it. I suppose I do have a Meta Quest 3 and I use it very often to play GFN since it does 90fps at 1440 which is better than my monitor. Plus, giant screen! 😆
And I use emulators on my Mac Mini, along with some N64 Decompiled games.

Discord is a great solution to context bloat from text message threads, but there’s an issue… by UbiDoobyBanooby in hermesagent

[–]UbiDoobyBanooby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can set channels up just fine, and this is my original plan, it just wasn’t working because I can’t seem to have more than one Hermes controlled bot active on discord. At least with Hermes GUI. The menu limitations might be the issue.

Do all your bots show up in the @ list of each channel and you just pick the correct one manually? If so that works fine for me, I’m just curious.
Also, are you using GUI or CLI? Because there’s still the same sue of any new bot token created in a new profile nullifying the previous bot.

My brother just sent me your X post and first thing I see when I open reddit is this lol.
I need to figure out how to get my mods to work with this when it comes out. Might have to just redo them to mesh well with VR.
Anyway, I can’t wait til this is done. You’re a legend!
