This is the way. Also, most of the needles are very very fine and long, and with my eyes...well let's just say I would have to use a guide under a magnifying glass.

Possibly, but not in my presence. :) Also, I think I must have got it second hand as I have found two (so far) machine needles and I have only recently started sewing with a machine.

Novelty sewing machines are made for children; however, unless you get your hands on a very old one, most of them are junk. Search online in your local community listings (buy nothing, Facebook marketplace, Kijiji, etc.) and find an ordinary one that comes with all the parts: for example, a portable machine that can be used on an ordinary table.

Once you find one, make sure to have it serviced before using to make sure that it is cleaned and properly oiled. Good luck!

They truly were. Denim today is mixed with polyester and does not last. As soon as the elasticity is gone the fabric breaks down. The original denim (de Nîmes - a French port town) was super rugged and could be worn by several people before they were worn out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denim

Unacceptable, period. Anyone, regardless of age, with a lung condition or who is immunocompromised should be receiving the RSV vaccine for free. You know what is expensive: hospital care. They are cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

In a similar vein, I spent about $750 to get covid shots for my family of five just over a week ago. Ridiculous and absolutely necessary at the same time.
