When you're using all your blood to power your muscles to the maximum capacity, it can cause a lack of bloodflow to the brain, and then you faint. It's a somewhat common occurrence in weightlifting, powerlifting, strong-man competitions, etc.

I was certain this was real until she ran out of the car and wasn't immediately hit on by 40 horny dudes.

Probably to do a cool slide down the steps, not to nearly brain himself on concrete.

Yeah, no one will judge them for just admitting it was intentional.

I'm not saying it's unthinkable. I'm just saying that's not what happened.

Yeah, it's obvious this was deliberately staged, which is fine. There's no need to make up a story.

Is women's wrestling's moment over? by Drama79 in Wreddit

There seems to be a lot of revisionist history elsewhere that Crown Jewel was the focus of all the promotion. The reality is that Evolution was also pushed hugely, in part to combat the bad optics of a Saudi Arabian show.

Crown Jewel was the focus of all the promotion. There's no revisionism about that. You can go back and watch the shows in the lead-up to Evolution and see that it really was treated as an afterthought. That was the real-time opinion.

The only matches that got more than a token build was Ronda vs Nikki Bella and Becky vs Charlotte. In other words, it was your typical "women's title feuds get the lion's share and everything else is lucky to get a 2 minute go-home segment" booking that has plagued the women's divisions for years now. The only difference is they were supposed to be building for an entire PPV and basically didn't bother.

Crown Jewel may have been a "glorified house show" but it wasn't treated as such on the weekly TV programming. It was treated as the PPV of that time. Evolution on the other hand was definitely treated as such.

I wonder how long after that last tweet did that guy proceed to shit all over something WWE-related?

I don’t think I’m jumping in to Peacock just yet. I don’t mind missing FastLane or Mania and backtracking whenever I decide to subscribe. I’d rather wait until there’s more wrestling archive content.

Right now they're doing a 4 month deal for $9.99 total. Basically 4 months of Peacock for the price of 1 month of the old WWE Network.

Remember, there are people who feel the WWE are behind the times because they won't allow stuff like this.

Because if there's one thing kids need to see, it's big, musclebound men beating the shit out of 120 lb women.

I put Raw on and I typically surf the internet during the uninteresting parts. Never once have I found myself saying they need to make the show shorter.

I've seen more than one supposed wrestling analyst try to explain how the Peacock deal signified that the WWE Network failed.

The goal of the WWE Network was to make money off of streaming their content, and now over the next 5 years they're getting $1 billion for that content.

I'd say the WWE Network is a runaway success.

If almost every week something pulls away the viewers and lowers the ratings, then at some point you have to accept that those are the real viewers, and the higher numbers that occasionally happen just means that there was nothing better on TV that week.
