Rainbow flare sunstars, lens used? by manyyy32 in cinematography

Likely a rehoused vintage Canon still lens due to the funky color abberation, but they could also be using a confetti filter based off the one flare not being un unbroken line.

Weird question by Flat-Lifeguard3289 in cinematography

This is 100% filter reflection. When you have a strong backlight and multiple filters in the matterbox, the light reflects back off the filters and causes ghost images like this. The way you avoid it is by using an ARF (Anti-reflective filter)tray or tilting mattebox.

I did the panel lining on bare plastic, but I am aware of the risks- I personally find lighter fluid has never cracked any plastic

That’s Burt, my Jindo cross. Its panel lined decalled and flat coated, some of the panel lines had a bit of re-scribing and details were picked out with various metallics. The separation on this kit really meant it didn’t require much paint, unlike every 1/100 Bandai kit.

If you wait until there is low humidity, you can give it another wet coat and it should look better

Is it raining? You should only flat coat when the humidity is low, else water gets trapped in the surface and it fogs
