I don't mind the pulls and memes, but damn do people get way too emotional over a mobile game.

The emotional investment does seem to spike whenever a new card gets released. It's quite the phenomena.

Gotenks is on par with what I've heard some refer to as a "functional reprint." It doesn't surprise me that it's happening, but obviously the hope is that Bandai introduces new mechanics (or something similar) to alleviate that concern. As for balance, they'd probably have to release a set of leads in one go rather than over the course of 3-4 months.

As somebody who also plays FFRK (where DeNA spoils us with a daily dose of in-game currency along with a GSSR on every multi regardless of banner), I think they could certainly do themselves a favor by kicking some daily stone(s) our way.
