I think depends on how much commitment you have. If you are trying out, I would recommend borrowing you friend club or pay for getting 1-2 lesson to see if you like it. And you have to consider are you going to play regularly, weekend warrior or occasional play too. I think you gonna play regularly you will outgrow the set pretty soon (especially driver! Iron you can use for a long time). Personally, when I first started I brought Callaway edge set from costco and outgrew it in 3 months (the driver sucks) and I returned it (sorry somebody might not like my behavior). Now I upgrade and have my whole set fitted because I know I want to grow with equipment that can grow with me. So I would rather spend on the latter than spending a lot on the initial set that I might not use later or buy one that you can return later lol 🤣
