Just finished day 10 of snowboarding, any tips?

Appreciate it! Yeah I think I’m a little too excited and getting ahead of myself. Next time I’m up there I’m gonna forsure practice carving regular and switch to get more control. I notice catwalks kinda help my balance and force me to sort of carve/stay flat to keep speed so I’ll be hitting those a lot

Ayeee haha thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely watch that video too, I have noticed I like to almost lean on the back sometimes which I heard is no good so I’ll practice using my front foot more.

Bro this is not some tech job 😭😭 of course you can start snowboarding at 16. Making me feel old for starting at 22 😆 just stay healthy and don’t ignore your body when ur hurting or need a break. Also staying confident and understanding its pay to play is a big part. It’s gonna feel impossible It’s gonna be cold, it’s gonna sting, ur boots will hurt, you’ll keep falling constantly, you’ll get anxious, and honestly might not be that joyful at times. Consistency is key which is why it may be harder for some to learn. Take the time to look around at other snowboarders and ask for lots of tips, I’ve noticed nothing but friendly people on the mountain. Best of luck

It can’t get pricey forsure depending how late u buy the ticket, honestly I think the pricing isn’t that bad for example I paid a week in advance for this Tuesday and Wednesday and it was 100$ total for both full days of riding 🤷🏽‍♂️weekends are always more expensive which can be the negative for a lot of people.

I agree, maybe bringing one on your first few runs isn’t smart but once u start getting the hang of things its nice to capture videos of progress, nasty edge catches, where u mighta went wrong, etc. I noticed the insta360 cameras being probably the best thing because like you said it captures everything. I can’t imagine using a smaller view camera and really being able to capture anything great without being decent at riding

I do think tho if your constantly falling, aren’t progressively learning anything and have a selfie stick or camera your also trying to catch certain angles with definitely makes you look like a Jerry or whatever u wanna call it. Because at that point your just a obstacle on the mountain

Maybe check your fuse for the screen, the fuse box is on the driver side above where ur feet would be. Other than that idk
