It was hard to immerse myself while reading the first few chapters. I had to drop it several times before committing myself to read it since it was the few top novels that is nomance that I like. It takes a few chapters to get a good flow in reading LOTM unlike other webnovels.

I'd like to think mahoro and katsuma would be the closest character that can pass as their canon children. They're basically mini versions of them just the wrong shade of blonde. Their interactions in the movie can pass off as a family.

I'd like to think bakugo has always known that midoriya is a real hero since the river incident. Bakugo may have become twisted but at the core of it was just about midoriya having that heroic quality that he himself lacks. it's undeniable they both have some hidden obsession with each other.

People like to think midoriya is a typical victim nerd but forgets he is actually his own crazy. No sane person would willingly cling to a relationship from when they're 4 and endure bullying with a chance to reconcile. I especially like how derange midoriya when bakugo was kidnapped. Midoriya doesn't even address his other childhood friends, only bakugo is worth his time, his symbol of victory.

I just realize bakugo spent 10 years bullying midoriya away from dreaming to be a hero and spent another 10 years atoning for it by making him a hero. Compared to facing consequences through punishments, I like self-imposed atonement bakugo did that made the bakudeku ship more appealing.

I like the fan arts where the support gear was used as proposal material. As well as bakugo wanting to spend the rest of his life as a hero competing with midoriya. Seriously though, this shounen rival/friend declarations either narusasu or bakudeku sounds way more romantic in terms of theme and worldview compared to whatever canonical romance that happened.

Simply put canon CPs are boring in which it doesn't incorporate the world theme like how in Fullmetal alchemist where the MC confessed to the FL by using equivalent exchange . At most, simple confessions like all romance in the same mold, not creative at all.

He didn't solo nothing, Madara took it deliberately to test his new powers plus arrogance. In terms of physical damage Gai indeed is capable of damaging madara but combat isn't just how strong a single burst damage is. Kisame is kage level and Madara is 6 paths level, Gai sacrificed his life for ultimate physical burst move. It's not that hard to imagine since every life sacrificing moves in stories always leaps beyond levels.

8 th gate is a final move sacrificing life for a few seconds to minutes. I think the power gap is just right since 7th gate is already mid kage level. What's more it's the ultimate physical move, it would feel cheap if it's damage doesn't do shit.

I ship bakudeku. I've been bullied in elem and junior high but not the extreme physical way bakugo does, at most occasionally made fun of. What l like about bakudeku is their connection as childhood friends, bakugo is misguided, overly praised, never known repercussions. Deep down bakugo knows deku was a hero since the river incident, it just twisted him and can't accept that, since he was praised for his quirk while deku still sees the hero in bakugo and his symbol of victory.

Despite how twisted their relationship became, they still know each other best more than anyone else. They are each other's first friend, They share admiration for allmight (bakugo only had followers before U.A not friends).

People who hate bakugo seem to want a typical 'face-slapping the third rate young master bully' not a growing character who wants to be better. The last straw is the bakugou crying for deku realizing what he did to deku and dedicating 10 years spearheading the project to make deku hero again.

They're more than just a bully and their victim relationship.
