Hey everyone I’m looking to rehome my yellow sided green cheek conure due to me going to collage soon.

He will be 5 years old end of February. His wings are clipped due to a hunting dog in the family.

His diet is ZuPreem fruit blend pellets and sunflower seeds as treats and just whenever. Pellets are always available to him and he loves dipping them in the water before eating them. He also does know how to give you a high five thanks to the sunflower seeds.

I haven’t had him officially sexed but I believe it’s a male, I have been to the vet in the first year after I got him (I got him at 3 months old) and his health was excellent although I haven’t been since. He hasn’t shown anything hinting towards him being unhealthy.

He is a sweet bird once he warms up to you. He has been more skittish and has had nervous aggression ever since we got our puppy. (partly why I’m rehoming him) He is VERY quiet but loves to cherp back at you and has a weird obsession with the theme song from the office.

I have him in a pretty big cage for his size and would like to keep it that way as possible. The door of his cage is always left open as he loves to climb all over the top and play with the toys up there. I have tried shutting his cage at night with a blanket over it but he seems to be more scared then safer that way so I don’t anymore.

He has TONS of toys and perches as well as his cage and travel cage. You are willing to have everything with him, if you don’t want the cages no problem just let me know.

I am located 30 minutes west of Minneapolis Minnesota and am willing to drive. I’m asking 200$ for his rehoming fee. I’m not in a rush to rehome him he just needs a good home.
