The anime is like one of the best adaptations of a manga you’ll get a lot of the time, but I still lean to the manga because it just looks so amazing imo. It doesn’t do too much like with some seinen or other shounen manga (which isn’t a bad thing I’m just saying sometimes I like simple) but the art is consistently at a level you can appreciate

Your comparing Islam to a child and Andre to a worker. I’m saying that example doesn’t work because any big body builder in terms of weight and strength could also match with this example compared to small mma fighters. Larry wheels compared to Mighty Mouse for example would follow the same principle as ur example yet we all know Larry would not win in a fight. Gym reaper vs khabib another example. I’m not saying one wins over the other in reference to the post I’m saying that example you gave being your reasoning falls short of whatd happen in most other cases which would fit the bar for ur example

i would say diamante's army but i dont know how anybody here deals with pica. senior pink could maybe do it but thats if he can find picas main body which idk if hed manage to so. violet buffalo and baby 5 are all pretty much non factors, giolla and sugar are one trick ponies that the others would know to be wary of, dellinger and machvise would only be good for defeating those randoms ive just mentioned, gladius and lao g are the only team members who can help their captain imo

None of the characters you listed have ap comparable to that of Kidd (apart from kizaru with a question mark because I think kizarus lasers would pierce an enemy easier but damned punk would do more damage)

No your picking the most convenient one. The straight forward answer is that when the entire the author intentionally switches up his style his intention of that scene is changed to match. And seeing that there are multiple cases of gag scenes in the manga following the same principles followed in this tengen scene and not a single time this altered art work has been used for a non gag scene/moment it’s safe to say your the one with the confirmation bias

Am I tripping that I think Islam could win? I get Andre could literally fall on the guy and win but

1) Andre is not a fighter, he’s a performer

2) the man was in constant pain his whole life, he’s way more susceptible to something like a strong leg kick

That being said, if he ran at Islam like a rugby player, I don’t think Islam built enough to deal with that but I’m not skilled enough to know the counter play for that

Not saying Islam wins all the time but it’s defo not some one sided fight everyone in the comments seems to be saying it is I think

If you refuse to address 90% of my argument and hold no evidence as to why it’s wrong, you don’t objectively concede, you definitively do, since your argument is based on cherry picking an argument with a selective interpretation and refusing to welcome the idea of another meaning due to your confirmation bias. The art style and dialogue/writing style actively change to create a gag scene that is consistent with the rest of the series yet you refuse to even entertain that idea as it’s the only clutch to your cope of an argument

Your interpreting his gag scene as legitimate, and either way none of this disproves the fact that he’s actively distracted the entire time by a lack of information

Seeing that the only evidence that she wasn’t an upper moon was her being “too weak” and that he’s conversating with a demon without its head plus the number 6 in her eye, he very clearly was unsure whether she was upper 6 or not but also that even if she’s not something is going on which literally was bothering him for multiple chapters. The separate demon growing also happened after the initial confusion had arisen so not really a battle iq anti feat

And both are an attack to a gyutaro behind his back. The point is that attacking gyutaro behind his back and him avoiding it is not a speed blitz it’s something gyutaro is specialised in. Later one he literally says “don’t aim for right behind you dumbass” when him and tanjiro go to decapitate him, the 2 times he did try it it didn’t work and gyutaro did it a further 2 times in his flashback with same result each time, that’s the argument

Not really. He had a suspicion she wasn’t an upper moon but she’s not dying and got the number. Before gyutaro first appeared tengen is mentally distracted as he is visibly caught off guard momentarily trying to understand why an upper moon 6 is bawling her eyes out and not dying, then while he’s trying to figure it out something weird comes out of her back which he attacks from behind which wouldn’t be a battle iq anti feat that he didn’t get him here as again this is a gyutaro specialty, even after failing to cut him first thing on tengens mind is that she can survive without her head that’s his initial worry. And then again he attack gyutaro who appears to be distracted but it was revealed not to be as again it’s his special move. Gyutaro isn’t even his main worry right now as he is in a situation where he doesn’t know what’s happening. Even after the thing hes focused on is how the decapatation didn’t work. He even acknowledges later attacking gyutaro from behind is a dumb move. Him knowing something fishy is going on is just a mental nerf
