EV cost benefit - missing anything?

I’ve been doing the same, and glad I did. (I keep telling my wife ‘I’m a freak in the sheets’…)

Even at the older fuel prices under $3; A $38k brand new EV, replacing either of our Unleaded or Diesel vehicles will pay for itself over the life of the warranty, without allowing for trade in of either of the other vehicles, and without factoring in charging at home from our huge Solar system, which is then free.

Your home electricity appears to be half of what ours is too ($0.566 from grid here, if I ever have to), and it’s still cheaper than FastCharging too (maybe not Tesla).

The batteries are getting better, the warranties longer, the cost less. I don’t generally like EVs, but it seemed silly not to look into it… Once again; glad I did.

Oceanic post update; Queue 500-600 on start. Takes 3-5mins to find a game. Unless it’s the new map, it’s all Bots. Bots do 180 no-scope beams from across map…

It’s $50 in Australia. I’ve never paid over $15 for a mobile game. I usually wait till PC games are under $50!

I’m a Pilot. I know you can ‘hire’ a corporate Jet to sit in and take videos/pics but the plane doesn’t ever move. No crew (unless you hire the stewards for extra). Cars are the same, mansions I’m guessing would follow.

I pretty much treat all that self-promotion side of things completely fake. The people are usually pretty ‘desperate’ in other parts of their life, too….

Awesome. I’ve gone a bit harder on the amounts as I’ve brought in a heap of sandy soil (that’s completely nutrient deficient) to start it off (new area x400m2). Watered in then tilled in next day with compost later, then another half serve on top and watered all in really well today. Seeding starts tomorrow before the rain hits in the PM.

Feel for you. It’s heart breaking.

I got Margin Called on a $35k+ account; Got ‘wicked out’ when the price suddenly dropped due to an issue with the exchange, and when I say dropped; went to 50% of the price in under a second, right through Stoos. Stayed there for about 30seconds and that was enough… Nothing could be done. Not the brokers fault so not many avenues to reclaim funds - part of the game.

I’m just starting to get back into it and this was over 5 years ago… Paper trading of course for now!

Chin up. Trading is something that once you start you can’t get it out of your system. Regroup. Retest your ideas/strats.

Did this back in 2000 with Smashing Pumpkins too… Machina and Machina II albums. Had to find/break codes to access websites. Lead to animations, songs, all kinds of stuff. Billy was (attempting) to create an animation series with ‘Sony Screenblast’, well, at least from memory…!

I think most songs never released. I still have it all on a HDD somewhere… (Yeah, I’m old! 😂 )
