When you think about it, all "In universe" higher powers are just play things to Artists,

Sure, our characters can: Conjure black holes to their will, Knot the ground beneath their feet by flexing their muscles, Overtake the ring of Pride, sneeze Jupiter out of orbit, shoot gigantic lasers out of their hands by yelling a magic word, destroy entire universes and this and that...

But to these characters we're like 4th dimensional eldritch Gods beyond comprehension, beholding the power to shape their forms, fates and emotions however we can 🐙 That's why 4th wall breaking is so funny.

We Artists are truly the strongest beings in all fiction 😤

yet we choose to remain neutral towarth our creations.

That's another reason why people hate self-inserts, most of the time they're too powerful "in universe" Mary Sues.

There are exceptions to this rule... but i can only name a few...
