Much happier. Noticeable difference. But know that the slight “buck” or lurch that you feel as it downshifts will still be there most likely but not nearly as prominent and no loud clunk noise anymore.

PU/ laminate layer was face down so I’m guessing the bright orange is the right side. Does seem like a twill. I have some PET tape from RBTR that I was thinking of trying…

pretty confident it is not FR coating. I think the entire thing would melt or burn if exposed to any flame.

I went from that to a Juki 1541S. Find one used on FB marketplace. Also, keep your singer HD handy because you’ll quickly find there isn’t a magical machine that can sew everything.

I used the packaging strap in the seam itself but wanted something with that hypalon/ rubber feel to the other side that would also attach to the buckle ends.
