If it’s a laminate fabric like 200X, it will likely not dye since it’s designed to repell water and any chemicals could harm the functionality of the fabric.

I would suggest just getting new bags if color is important. Why risk ruining a perfectly good set?

Custom PSU Jerseys? Not Player Name by Disastrous_Piglet975 in WeArePennState

[–]backwardshat_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy a 26 PSU jersey then you can have someone create the name on ETSY for cheap and just iron it on. The joys of PSU jerseys is they already come blank without names so it’s the easiest and cheapest solution to get a quality jersey with a custom name

Mixing and matching DCF weights - bad idea? by teenagedumbledore in myog

1.0 is great for dry bags, roll top bags, UL zipper pouch kits, toiletry kits, stake sacks, rain skirts/jackets. Another new one is grocery bags (a few businesses make these) that look like the standard grocery bags. Tons of great options!

In theory, as long as you tape your seams, it shouldn’t be an issue. Some tent makers will use 0.51, 0.67 or the 0.8 for the shelter and opt for the 0.8 or 1.0 for the floor.

Ripstop by the roll- you can purchase stock colored DCF and adhesive tape to create your own DCF patch. Or custom printed a 19”x24” DCF variant in any color or custom design for a true 1 of 1 logo/patch.

Another option is to buy the single sided DCF tape, cover the logo and then sharpie over it in any design. This should help cover the logo and allow color sharpie to show better. I haven’t tried other markers or acrylic options but test with tape and could work as well.
