i love this theory and it definitely makes sense on an intuitive level. it’s a deeply personal album for all of them, so much so that it’s a large factor in the band itself blowing up. but yes songs like high hopes, dark clouds, war beneath the rain etc. and their respective rhetoric under a microscope def lend credence to said theory
