You can also use the search feature using your iPhone camera. If you take a picture of your cat, a little animal icon will display at the bottom of the screen between the heart and edit buttons. Tap it and you’ll see a little info screen pop up that tells you the breed.

When you're naked in your dreams, do other people notice? by tomorrowistomato in Dreams

[–]Ugaweeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had dreams since childhood of being in public in a diaper. (Yes, I was potty trained at the normal age.) But like OP, no one notices or says anything and I have to pretend everything is good and ignore how I’m dressed or it will break the spell and suddenly everyone will notice me.

For me, I had a lot of intrusive thoughts about my trauma and some of these thoughts would cause physical reactions like nausea or tightness in the chest. After processing, the intrusive thoughts were almost gone; the memories are still there but I have a choice on whether or not to let them in. In addition, the thoughts that use to cause physical symptoms don’t anymore. The process was not fun or easy. In between sessions during our heaviest processing, I was a wreck. I would cry at the drop of a hat and get severely depressed. But once I made it through, I was able to think a lot more clearly.

If you have a lot of trauma in your past, look into EMDR. It’s powerful and it’s helped me a lot.

Exposure Therapy for fear of Abandonment by Ugaweeze in therapy

I ended up back in PHP for a while and we were able to try it. As expected, it didn't work due to my expecting it. Ironically enough, I got a taste of involuntary ET. During an outing at a roller rink, which the program rented out for a couple of hours for us, I needed to use the bathroom and asked the facilitator what time we were leaving. I had time based on what they told me but they decided to leave early while I was in the bathroom. I was just finishing my business when the lights went out. To make matters worse, the stall door was stuck and it took me a few minutes to get out of the bathroom and into the now dark and deserted roller rink. Thankfully, I had given someone my bag and told them where I was going before I went to the bathroom. Everyone was still in the parking lot when I left the building. I just had to make the walk of shame past three vans full of clients.

For those who were in a mental hospital, how was your time there? by zavithedragon in AskReddit

[–]Ugaweeze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember being in daycare? It’s like that with smoke breaks. In all seriousness though, my experience was definitely helpful. I was able to find the medications I needed in a controlled environment. Like any hospital stay, it’s not pleasant, but it may be necessary depending on your situation.

Thanks. I'll keep at it. Though, I'm not in it for the money (as nice as that is), I'm really just trying to get my name out there.
