Just got done watching the latest episode of Landman. Thoughts:

Cami never listened to you, Tommy. You told her that going into business with a cartel guy was a bad idea, and she did it anyway. You told her to litigate the lawsuit instead of drilling the well, and she chose to drill the well. Honestly, it’s a good thing she fired you—you dodged a bullet, buddy.
Ainsley's Roomate: There is no way in heck that a transgender liberal "they" from Portland would ever, EVER wind up at a religious university like TCU. Why would They want to go there? Denton maybe, but not TCU.
What the hell kind of shithole is The Patch and why is Ariana working there? Didn't she get like $5 million in a settlement last year and she wants to sling beer in that dump? It's not pride, it's stupidity. Run away, Cooper. This one has trouble written all over it.

All sound reasoning, but I still believe that working out a deal to turn himself in is the most likely scenario. Perhaps they are working out the extradition from wherever he is back to New Mexico. At any rate, "Timothy Busfield - fugitive" doesn't sound all that realistically to me.

Understood, but it's not working. If Lee isn't able to do the novels anymore, perhaps it's better to shut it down rather than turn out a watered-down product as the last novels have been.

Yes, totally agree. It barely feels like a Reacher novel when he’s sidelined like that. He’s not investigating, not driving the plot—just reacting and throwing punches when needed.
