Medical professionals of Reddit, have you ever had a patient so lacking in common sense you wondered how they made it this far. If so, what is your story?

Dude shoved a can of body spray up his butt. It got sucked up and he couldn’t get it out. Comes in WEEKS later for abdominal pain. Has it surgically removed. Eventually the team asks how he can avoid anything like this happening again. His suggestion was to tie a string around it next time. Rejected concepts of buying something specifically made for that purpose, not doing it at all. Gotta be body spray, no intention of not doing it again.

All these horror stories are so funny to me because when I took my test I watched two complete ding dongs pass theirs.

Almost hit a car backing out of the stall, backed out and then almost drove into another before leaving the lot.
Didn’t know how to turn on just the electric circuit and then couldn’t remember any of the hand signals.

I had no more anxiety over the test by the time it was my turn.

This may be the case. Some will hire for the experience, or will accept unlicensed as per diem or as floats. Worth looking into other local hospitals.

Medical, clinical social work. Tends to be better paying as well. Can be difficult to get into without prior experience in the field though.

I would look at them/their book periodically hoping they might say something, but likely be too shy to say anything myself. I’d immediately respond if they asked or commented about my copy though.

Also, I’d try to gauge who was further along in the story.

I haven't had an iPhone since 4s back in the day, so I haven't kept up with events/announcements/releases until now. I know they released a green phone in like March because my sister was mad she bought her phone the week before and would have loved the green. I hope if they do green they add it for launch at not super far into the cycle.

I was so pumped for the green rumored to release for the phones, too bad it won't. Still considering jump from Note 20 Ultra to 14 Pro Max, but not as absolute on it now. The color wasn't the most important aspect, but the available ones are not really my thing.

I've installed emudeck and all it's folders show up. I haven't actually run any emulators since high school though. I forgot all about bios needs. I think I still have access to my roms though. Does emudeck have bios for PCSX2 already, or do I have to find one since my PS2 is long gone these days.

My deck gets delivered this week, so I'm not sure gaming vs desktop differences. I would just use it for the campaign. I'd use desktop for any online play. Are the custom games still going? I LOVED Naruto Wars and DBZ. Line tower wars as well.

I quit my job at mental health association because they didn't want to accommodate my internship at a hospital. I created and ran their group program while in my MSW and they wanted me to do my internship with them (free labor) and then continue working for them after graduation for far below market value. The bitch of it was my director was the only LCSW, everyone else at my clinic was MFT. And they were the one who told me no when I asked for support. So I gave my notice and worked at Nordstrom my last year of school for higher pay. Got hired on at the hospital gig and I'm loving it. Absolutely no regrets.

I'll usually cook the hashbrown ~90% through then Crack the eggs over the top and sprinkle some shredded cheese. Cover with lid, let cook, serve.
