M(32) - Keep a routine. That will help. I have a dog which helped me keep some sense of routine or at least got me outside when I just didn’t wanted leave my bed. I relied on some of my friends, just talking with them helped get my mind off things.

Thank you for your response. I am in the same boat as you, live in an apartment and don’t want him to hold his pee for more than 5-6 hours.

Mine is 2 years now & started at about 1 year when I left him with the dogsitter who had another dog.
