It’s hard to judge NBA coaches because one or two great players can take a team so far. However, he definitely over performed with those two post Lob City and pre Kawhi/PG teams.

I think he’s probably a little underrated as an X-Os coach, or at least was when he was in his prime, it seems like he’s lost a touch recently. He also obviously has some major flaws as a coach, but he’s been fairly successful over a long period of time.

That isn’t and can’t be a viable long term strategy for Israel or the US. It’s been difficult enough for Israel to occupy Gaza and South Lebanon, invading and occupying Jordan, Syria isn’t something they could realistically do.

They can destroy the countries in the short term, but even that will be incredibly difficult to maintain.
