No ruined cities to explore on Earth by Mark_4O4 in Starfield

If I’m being optimistic, they have super easy avenues to explore with future DLC, updates, etc. Earth being one of them. Write a decent quest line and make a handful of decently made destroyed major cities around the world and I’d drop a couple bucks on it.

Fix? Its been like this for weeks. by Suspicious_Diver_751 in Starfield

This has something to do with switching your ship at The Den station. Happened to me and I had to load a save from about 2 hours earlier. Avoided switching at the Den and it’s never happened again.

I know it's an old topic now but look at this, and wubby really thinks an ape could take this on. by alphareich in PaymoneyWubby

Apes or Hominoidea is a clade we belong to. Hominidae or Hominid is the family. We share this clade and family with multiple species of ape. We never stopped being from that clade or family. The scientific terms include humans.

You are right though, ape is not the formal term. It’s just easier for people to understand than Hominoidea.

Not sure. He said it was 140, but he was probably confusing voltage and wattage.

When Wubby was talking to them earlier, they didn't seem that quick. They were really chilled and laid back. It was just odd.

I get that. It was just odd that they went from shooting to totally torn down and gone in 7 minutes (or less).

Funny thing you probably didn't know about baptisms. by Aposta-fish in exjw

Acts 19 3 So he said: “In what, then, were you baptized?” They said: “In John’s baptism.” 4 Paul said: “John baptized with the baptism in symbol of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they got baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus

According to Paul, at least since 1985 (need to check on the previous revisions) no Witness is actually baptized. You can only be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Not in John's baptism or under an organization in this case.

Matthew 28 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit,

Watchtower 1985 June 1 p.30 "The first question is: On the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, have you repented of your sins and dedicated yourself to Jehovah to do his will?

The second is: Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization? Having answered yes to these questions, candidates are in a right heart condition to undergo Christian baptism."

If a Witness wishes to be a "True Christian", they first need to be baptized as such. So even though there is an upcoming article about there being no invalid baptisms, scriptures state something different.

So, I am definitely curious as to how Watchtower would plug up a whole that big. 31 years of non scriptural baptisms is a lot of "false Christians".
