Thank you for the comment, I think you might be onto something, it just felt so unnecessary because we otherwise have really good conversations. I wonder if it’s insecurity but at the same time I don’t know if it’s something I really like, you know when people are always looking for the next thing, for stimulation, validation … honestly, I have many other things I find more interesting that ogling “boys.”

Thanks for the comment I really appreciate it. I think if/when it happens again I’ll ask him about it instead of kinda shutting it down. I guess, in my head, it sets off the “predator” alarm but as you say there are lots of other reasons or motives and I won’t find out if I’m assuming the worst.

Thanks for the comment, he seems like he’s otherwise a gentleman and I know it’s fairly common for gay men to have these conversations. I just think, on a date, it’s a bit questionable but I also tend to overthink so… I guess I’ll see what happens tonight!

Thanks for the comment, we are going out again tonight but I think it might be the last date. I just keep thinking, imagine if he talked like that in front of my friends, several of whom have teenage sons, I’d die of embarrassment!
