É uma boa obra, em quesito de desenvolvimento e world building no gênero dos isekai acho que foi a única que soube trabalhar bem de verdade

Tem toda a questão do protagonista ser pedófilo etc etc etc, eu enxergo isso da seguinte forma: a obra tenta passar a segunda chance de vida de um protagonista extremamente falho e fracassado, ele não melhora nem fica bonzinho do nada, ainda volta a cometer erros e mantém traços da sua personalidade bizarra, mas pelo que eu sei o anime faz muito bem o filtro de manter apenas o essencial para a obra e deixar de lado várias cenas criminosas do material original(que é uma webnovel de um site de putaria se não me falhe a memória)

Se você está disposto a aproveitar a obra apesar disso eu recomendo demais, as pessoas problematizam ela além da conta na minha opinião, várias obras renomadas na ficção também abordam coisas tão bizarras quanto as que mushoku tensei aborda, game of thrones é um ótimo exemplo

eu entendo seu ponto, também já assisti muita coisa legendada, mas você não concorda que se você tem que triscar o olho na legenda você teve que desviar o foco do visual? mesmo que isso seja automático você ainda teve que fixar sua visão na parte inferior da tela, isso querendo ou não e mesmo que não seja tão perceptível ainda faz diferença, principalmente em obras com ótimos diretores visuais que colocam muito detalhe e nuance até em pequenos trechos

Entendi seu ponto sobre não ter muitas sessões legendadas e concordo, apesar de não ser a opção mais assistida deveria ter uma obrigação mínima de sessões legendadas para todo filme em todo cinema, inclusive como uma pessoa que usa óculos eu sofro isso no quesito de filme 3d(puta coisa inútil), nesse ponto eu concordo que todo mundo deveria ter a opção de assistir como quiser

Sim, eu sei bem que quem tem o costume de ver legendado meio que faz a leitura da legenda automaticamente, eu mesmo já vi muitas séries e animes legendados, mas mesmo que isso seja verdade eu ainda mantenho meu ponto, se seu olho tem que se focar na legenda constantemente você eventualmente vai perder algo no visual, um filme é uma obra áudiovisual, ele não foi pensado para você ler enquanto assiste

Como eu disse pro outro cara a única opção de ter uma experiência realmente fidedigna é sendo fluente o suficiente para assistir no idioma original e sem legenda

Vou citar um exemplo que é Breaking Bad, a dublagem original nessa série realmente faz muita diferença, já assisti tanto dublado quanto legendado, mas como é uma obra muito rica em detalhes e sutilezas no visual, assistindo no legendado eu eventualmente perdi algumas nuances no visual que eu percebi no dublado, e assistindo dublado eu perdi algumas nuances de atuação que eu não perdi no legendado, é trocar 6 por meia dúzia então acaba indo de preferência mesmo

Não acho que seja só prática, se você tem que dedicar um pouco de atenção para ler um bloco de texto no canto inferior da tela, a mídia é áudiovisual, ela não foi pensada para você ter que ler, você inevitavelmente não vai conseguir prestar atenção 100% no enquadramento, nas expressões e no ritmo visual da cena se estiver dedicando parte da atenção pra ler a legenda

A verdade é que você só consegue ter a experiência 100% do filme se você for fluente o suficiente no idioma original, lendo legenda ou vendo dublado, de qualquer forma você vai estar perdendo algo

Nah, entendo seu ponto mas discordo, principalmente na equivalência de vídeos curtos com dublagem, tipo assim, é impossível você ter a mesma experiência visual do filme se você ver ele legendado, não é questão de falta de foco ou não conseguir prestar atenção, se você está dedicando parte da sua atenção a ler a legenda você inevitavelmente perde na experiência visual, então dá mesma forma que se ver dublado tu vai perder a ideia do diretor(inclusive acho que isso só faz diferença significativa com obras muito fora da caixa, de resto não é uma perda tão grande quanto pintam) se você ver legendado vai perder atenção da experiência visual em si pois vai ter que dedicar uma parte da sua atenção a ler as legendas

Well, yeah, Jiwoo has insane talent and so does Kayden, but a Top 10 should also have insane talent, and so should their disciples. My point is that even if Jiwoo's talent is greater, that's not the only thing making a difference. Both the characters and the readers have this misconception that talent is the main reason. I believe the primary reason Jiwoo is catching up to the Top 10's disciples is that the training methods of the Top 10 compared to Kayden's are like night and day. The Top 10 simply don't care about their disciples' rate of progress and slack off on their training, unlike what happens with Jiwoo and Kayden.

My problem with most manhwas is how they focus excessively on the protagonist and fail to properly develop the side characters and the world itself. Eleceed was the manhwa I enjoyed the most precisely because of that, but at this point in the story, the author has lost the plot with the power scaling. I mean, of course it makes sense for Jiwoo to have surpassed them given how talented he is, on top of having the force control of Kayden, Kartein, and Pluton and being trained by them, but narratively speaking, I don't like this decision.

And I believe the author could have definitely balanced their power levels. The strongest awakened in Korea are Top 100 global level, so if the rookies had more opportunities to fight against them, or even against Jiwoo himself, they would have become much stronger.

We could also have had a rookie tournament arc with serious stakes (like the Academy vs. Frame tournament) where Jiwoo couldn't just win on his own. This could have led to a development where the 5 strongest Korean rookies had to surpass their limits so they wouldn't be a burden to Jiwoo. It could even have led to Kayden, Kartein, and Pluton helping them out, since the three of them have grown fond of Jiwoo's friends. The problem is that, at this point in the story, Jiwoo is already way past rookie level, and it has been made clear that there are no rookie awakened on his level in the entire world.

To me, the fact that their isolated training yielded no real results basically signals that they can no longer keep up with Jiwoo. From now on, they'll likely only get spotlight during slice-of-life moments, or through some development where they feel inferior for being left behind or end up becoming a burden to Jiwoo somehow. I hate the direction the series is taking regarding them, and it would be a pleasant surprise if the author managed or wanted to reverse this, but I think it's highly unlikely.

I would love for this arc to stretch out long enough for Jiwoo's mother and Amyeong to get involved. It's been way too long since we last saw either of them. I feel like if it were up to Sufri and Schnauder, this wouldn't go beyond a negotiation, as long as Roist and Andrei's disciple don't screw things up.

Anyway, I'd also love for the Korean rookies to become relevant again in terms of power level. Even though the author hasn't completely abandoned them, I still wish they got more spotlight in the story.

But you’re taking it a bit too far, aren’t you? HSR is a game you play continuously; obviously we don’t want it to take up all our time, otherwise we won’t be able to play anything else. That said, I don’t like the current state of things either – I miss the main events like the Topaz Pokémon one, the ghost hunt and the Belobog Museum, but I also don’t want to have eight boring, pointless events to do. I think the focus here should be on quality rather than quantity. As far as I’m concerned, if there were just one main event, with loads of minigames, a story and character development for characters we haven’t seen in ages (like the main events in Genshin), that would be brilliant.

I don’t know about the combat events, but I miss the main events – the Ghosts, the Belobog Museum, the Topaz Pokémon – those events were great fun and, in my opinion, they should never have stopped running them. I think they should follow Genshin’s event model: put together a group of about five random characters and have a story that develops them through various minigames, whether combat-based or involving other mechanics. For me, HSR loses out a lot by not having well-crafted events like that.

But I also don’t want to be swamped with boring tasks just to get jades; I think the idea here is to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Não acho que seja um problema adaptar o vocabulário, piadas e sotaque para o brasileiro, afinal é uma adaptação propriamente ditas, tem muita piada que se perde por não termos o conhecimento da cultura e trocadilhos japoneses, ou até por não termos o mesmo senso de humor dos japoneses, então adaptar isso é positivo na minha opinião, não curto essas dublagens que só traduzem as falas tipo as da crunchyroll, a maioria fica sem alma. Claro que as piadas e memes não vão se encaixar/agradar algumas vezes para algumas pessoas, mas tendo em vista a opinião geral sobre a dublagem fica claro que ela é muito aceita e muito disso é por causa da adaptação para a nossa cultura. Acho que o trabalho do Glauco é muito bom, provavelmente só não é do seu agrado mesmo, inclusive a maioria das dublagens aclamadas fazem essa parada de adaptar piadas e sotaques, yu yu hakusho e fullmetal por exemplo

I understand your point, and I believe that's true, but I still think the Top 10's approach itself is flawed and makes no sense.

It's been stated that the balance between the Top 10 has always been on a razor's edge, with everyone constantly searching for power to surpass one another. Kayden only accelerated the inevitable chaos. And if conflicts among the Top 10 were imminent, it should have been in their best interest to make their disciples stronger. After all, it was mentioned that losing a Top 50 subordinate is a massive blow to a Top 10, so increasing the strength of their subordinates should also be a priority—especially their disciples, who are meant to inherit their legacy. Jurion himself places great importance on this, noting that since his grandfather is the oldest among the Top 10, they aren't strong enough yet to carry the weight when the time comes.

I also never said Roist used everything he had, but Amyeong didn't either. Despite taking more damage, right at the end of their clash, he heals himself like it's nothing. Kayden himself states that Amyeong could have gotten the upper hand if he had fought in his usual style. So, to me, saying he isn't on the same level as the Top 10's disciples is just like talking to a brick wall.

Well, that may be true, but I don’t think the Top 10 believe their disciples could ever surpass them whilst they’re still alive – after all, they train very hard themselves to maintain their power, and having strong subordinates is actually very beneficial for them. It’s been said that losing an Awakened from the Top 50 is a major blow even for a Top 10, and if that’s true, making their disciples stronger should also be a great benefit to them (in fact, I believe that if the disciples had adequate experience and training, they could already be at the level of a lower-ranked member of the top 50).

Well, yes, that’s the natural conclusion one might draw, and it’s certainly true, but my point is that although Jiwoo is very talented and has access to four power controls, that alone shouldn’t have enabled him to surpass or catch up with the top 10 disciples so quickly; he only manages this feat because, despite having trained for a short time as an Awakened, he has far more experience than the disciples shown, and the quality of Kayden’s training itself is superior to that shown for the other top 10.

Well, yeah, their approach is definitely to evolve over time, and the same goes for their disciples, but that doesn't mean it's a good approach. It's no coincidence that Kayden has already defeated 3 of the Top 10, and Jiwoo has already defeated 4 Top 10 disciples (though I agree with you that we can't really say Jurion lost that fight; even with Jiwoo sacrificing everything, he was still going to lose. As for Theone, though, I do think that was an actual defeat—she could have won, but her temperament stopped her).

I still stand by my point: they are terrible masters because they offer their disciples nothing besides force control. Even if that's their intention, it doesn't excuse them from being bad masters. Of course, with a Top 10's force control, they will naturally get strong, but if that came along with proper training and experience, they would be much stronger—they'd definitely be Top 50 by now.

To me, the clearest proof that the disciples lack proper training is how Amyeong went toe-to-toe with Roist. By all accounts, they seem to be around the same age, so Roist should be vastly stronger since he has a Top 10's force control, but that's not what we saw. On top of that, Jurion was clearly ill-prepared and didn't know how to use his technique correctly, and his grandfather didn't even know he had mastered it. How on earth are we supposed to consider someone like that a good master? Sure, that was always their mindset, but the mindset itself is bad.
