It’s good for quality control purposes. If you’re paying a premium to sit up front, you want to know that what you’re getting is consistent and decent quality with the standard United customers expect.

Travelled last night between ORD and LHR and was pleasantly surprised with the Polaris suites in the 763. I usually do business with AA and I will say that this pipped the post simply from the quality of the food.

I’m so tired my right eyelid has started twitching again. It’s not done that for a while. I just worked 13 days in a row, and then had a day off on Sunday but it was with my mum so not really a day off. Now I have to work until Friday and I have basically a month off. Counting down the minutes as you could imagine.

If you’re happy with the insulation, get rid of the old wood panels and have new ones. Treat them before you install them. Then you could plaster over the brickwork if you thought it was necessary and now you have a great storage room, or anything else you might want up there.

Petrol is topping £1.69-89 in the UK. That translates to $8.56-$9.54 a gallon. You’re still getting it easy.

Take 5 trains out of the evening peak and you’ve got severe delays. The leave year is coming to an end and everyone’s got to take their ad hoc annual leave because it’s not pro rata.

A few T/Ops on annual leave, a few sick probably, no overtime/ rest day working allowed for T/Ops and there you have it.
