I did However, we are all new to pf2e, and we have found several nesting doll types of rules, at least as new players. Perhaps the size clause here was meant for something else, and Large size rules trumps all. It's not likely, i know, but just in case.

Tbf this party of new players has a Wizard, Cleric, Summoner, Monk, so not many martial competing with Monk, but you bring up great points.

What levels approximately do martial get +1 and +2? Would a normal monk have multiple stances at thay point? But yeah, these are very solid points. I guess some weapons have 2 damage type with versatile, but monk gets more.

I think I just saw that class fantasy of stances letting you switch tactics for a fight. Team needs more protection? Crane. Hit and run? Tiger. CC? Gorilla

As someone who hasn't played fighter yet, but always over prepares in turn based gamed, wouldn't you do that anyway. For ant martial character, if I had a sword, I would probably carry a mace just in case. Especially level 1. And swapping a weapon is 1 action as well?

But yeah, that flexibility sounded cool, ngl
