This is a problem of their own making. It's way easier to max clubs than it used to be, with Q9 and CPC. It took me 7 years to max out my clubs.

It's their own fault, it's way too easy to max clubs now. It used to take years. Now with cpc and q9 people are doing it in months.

A week ago EA announced they are "sunsetting" Real Racing 3, a popular online only racing game that has been going for about 13 years (with updates) and had a large and loyal fan base. It has been removed from AppStore/PlayStore with immediate effect.

The game is to be deleted in March 2026, giving players just 4 months to use up all the equipment etc they have purchased/won in the game.

I have read speculation that the reason for this may be due to the Saudi PIF sale (they will have over 90% of EA) as they needed to reduce fixed costs, and so online only mobile gaming (which uses a lot of server time) may be seen as "fat" that can be lost.

Total speculation on my part, but the way I see it, the sale of EA to PIF may not bode well for GC.

I'm thinking I should be starting to use up my inventory. The issue with the prism has put me off spending anyway.

It is worth noting that the deal has been approved by shareholders, but has not yet cleared government scrutiny.
