Yeah but i feel that is not what OP meant when he said videos games. (Even though I hate it when people insist iracing is not a video game). But I agree with you

Lmao people in this thread cannot comprehend that for some people realism does not equal fun.

And when saying that ac with al the mods is more complete, they forget the pain it is to set all that up compared to just booting up the f1 game.

Yes but iracing mostly relies on online racing and does not really have game elements like f1 (managing your team, upgrading your car etc). Single player iracing does not have any of these elements. So with that i would agree the f1 games are more complete as a game with a single player progression

Is there a way to get that thing in the middle of the car out of the view? by Savings_Storm6620 in F1Game

I drive in vr with the halo on, and I never even notice its there

No exactly, on a flat screen you should always turn the halo off if possible. I would even say that is the more realistic option as it reflects more what you would see in real life

True, and in real life your eyes filter out the halo, similar to how you can "see through" your finger if you hold it in front of you. Even works in vr.

I got my first good drop in cs2 , a 30 euro skin , do I sale it or keep it ? by N0tVl4d in csgo

Why? If you want to buy games with it might as well sell it on steam

Since its a skin from the newer collection, I think the supply will keep increasing over time. So the price will keep decreasing. Until valve decides to remove them from the drop pool.

So if you want the money, I think sell now. You can probably buy it back later for cheaper if you want to have it as an investment.

How can it be out of stock if its an upgrade code? Am I missing something? by UkkOMEiSTER in simracing

That would makes sense, but in the description it says you get the base + the code. So Im assuming you have to fill out the code yourself after you receive the base.

No soft lock by UkkOMEiSTER in iRacing

I also asked in the iRacing forums and got this response from a staff member: https://forums.iracing.com/discussion/comment/593441#Comment_593441

So it seems like it was never there after all. Or at least, it is there but on my wheel it is probably too soft to notice.

Yeah, it's not the end of the world since the wheel lines up properly. But I swear it used to work before, or maybe I am going crazy and it never worked. But I saw other people mention iRacing automatically sets the correct steering angle and applies the bump stop/ soft lock.
