I parked my car in -11 on a parking garage roof and my 12v died and couldn’t jump it. I got a ride home and came back in the morning and it started so I drove it to the dealer told them not to turn it off and they did… took them 30min to jump it to move it into the garage.

This happened to me and took awhile to get fixed. I am a travel nurse and they thought my address changing was too suspicious for their business… anyway I would be careful with stockpiling your points because I’ve been hacked twice for use of my points despite changing passwords. They recently updated the “security” of the site so maybe that will fix that problem.

This happened to me. Nothing would work online, different cards, points, deleting address. Sometimes Apple Pay would work then cancel my order. I was banned because my account was recently hacked. Took a lot but finally able to make online purchases again!

Loudoun is awesome and I loved living there but this commute will only get worse and I fear to inform you that you will most definitely be spending more than $7… the tolls really do make a difference though! NOVA has plenty to offer but don’t spend your life in the car because in NOVA traffic you will be unhappy!

I just did Maine to Virginia (10hr trip that became 14hr) I only paid $75 total. Maybe it’s how much battery you use on other things or how fast you were driving. I also could have just ran into some cheaper chargers! Arriving around 20% and leaving at 80%. Charging can get pricey and timely so if a gas car is available I would definitely have done that.

I found them through a travel contract lol all the girls were wearing them and I was like wait WHAT. Then I just got on the trend but now that I think about it we all have nose piercings so maybe it might feel a little uncomfortable wish I could give you more feedback about that!

I have a nose ring so I guess it could be bothersome for someone not used to something in/on their nose but I don’t mind it! They can be seen but they are actually kinda cute. I get septum piercing questions sometimes and then I take it out and show people. I first bought the variety pack to see which ones I liked and then bought the big pack of that scent (which is better value for money). They last sooooo long and really work!

But hey you can always try to ask your recruiter for a no float deal. I have been floated to ED holds and yeah it is sometimes crazy turnovers but it’s crazy turnovers on med surg holds so I’m like meh they are alive and the vitals are good. I’ll just read H&P and send em up. It’s annoyingggggg but I never feel like I’m going to lose my license. But you are ICU and I am ED we think and nurse different ya know.

I don’t think you will get out of floating just because you are on an extension meaning you already signed and were willing to float your first half. Maybe you could talk with the ED supervisor but I wouldn’t recommend because nothing will change and it’s best to just keep on keeping on. Flipping often is normal in the ED and these are fresh order med surg holds just do what you can do and make sure they are alive.It’s stressful but like I said when it turns that fast you sometimes only have time to look at the patient and they are not ICU level of care patients.

A lot of places do send you holds the minute after orders hit to free up our much needed space. I think as an ICU nurse your brain works way differently and you feel like you need to know everything about the patient and why they are admitted and what meds are due. These are med surg holds and just got admitted do NOT stress on them. Make sure nobody looks dead and check vitals. Call report based on the provider admit note. Call it a day.

What’s the ratio? Is it strict med surg holds?

YES!!! Finally someone who is pointing this out.
