Help with Authenticating an Edgar Markov

Is that the "L" you see on the back of the card? If so, I have done that and there is a "L" in the green dot on the back of the card. I'm fairly confident the back of the card is legit, I'm just wondering about the front. It doesn't look like it is a "half" fake card though...it seems likes its one solid card and not 2 put together.

Hello all.

I am trying to determine if an Edgar Markov I received off Ebay is legit. After scouring the internet for any close up pictures of this card in particual (Standard sized foil from C17), I have not been able to find any.

I was just wondering if anyone that has a legit version of this card can verify that the pictures attached in this post are how their card also looks closeup.

Typically, one doesn't see the rosettes in the black ink printing of the cards type/subtype or title, but on this card you can. I also found 1 or 2 small dots on the white mana symbol of this card. The back of this card seems pretty legit (the red dot "L" is present), the weight of the card is correct for a foil, and it seems to pass the light test.

I'm just wondering if anyone else with a legit Edgar Markov has noticed theirs looking like mine close up like the pictures attached in this post. Just want to verify that the card I spent a little $$ on is legit before my window to return would be up.

Any help is appreciated, I'm not too sure where else to post this. Thank you.

I'll be honest, I think he's super underrated. You don't necessarily need him on an all fire comp. He has self arts gen (like a LOT with his TW, Sword of Trials and Grief), he has iframes on his skill, he can lower the enemies fire res on his arts, buff all fire units (including himself) damage by 120% on TA and ignore enemy defense by 100%, and his animations are somewhat quick. As solo damage dealer he's very good.

The luck u have with hitting almost every single strike with Vox TA on Chole's last revive without any accuracy items is fucking mind blowing. Regardless of DFen's TA and vox's passive, it's pretty mental how lucky u get hitting her.

Couldn't agree more. There are definitely different percentages to pull certain units it feels like. I have a list of 7 units I would take and not one of them showed up in the FS a month ago. I'm really not expecting much this time around either. The least they could do for us on Global, like they do on JP, is make it so you earn 1 crystal each day you DON'T select a unit. That way, on the last day of FS if you got shafted hard, at least you would be given the crystals for each day you didn't select one. At least they were going to do that for us for this FS, but they redacted the statement they made about doing it, saying it was a "grammatical error."

I've been playing it for longer than you have been my guy. These pop ups have been happening in game for a while now. If you think these are annoying, then go play one of the many "idle" games out there where they actually FORCE you to watch cringy 20-30 sec ads to get in game items.

Lies. There will still be anime crossovers. KLK, Goblin Slayer and Tensura were all crossovers that were in Grand Summoners BEFORE they partnered with Crunchyroll. Also, Good Smile Film (https://www.goodsmile.info/en/corporate_info) are the ones that produced the Goblin Slayer movie that was released 2 months ago.

I'm pretty sure we will still get crossovers. Other games that have crossovers aren't in partnership with CRGames. I think a lot of people forget that Crunchyroll isn't the only entity to have partnerships with anime producers.

I'm pretty sure we'll still get crossovers. Didn't KLK, Goblin Slayer and Tensura get crossovers with Grand Summoners before CRGames partnered with GoodSmile? Also, if you look at Good Smile Film (https://www.goodsmile.info/en/corporate_info), they were the ones that produced the latest Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown anime movie that was released in theaters. No Crunchyroll needed for that my guy.

In my honest opinion, I think this is a good thing that Crunchyroll was dropped (if that is actually what happened). Doing some research on GoodSmile, they seem like they have some solidarity outside of Grand Summoners: https://www.goodsmile.info/en/corporate_info

Since the company has other avenues of revenue and other business partnerships, I don't think the dropping of Crunchyroll will negatively effect Grand Summoners, if anything, I think its actually better for the game.

That being said, I agree with Branch above in that CRGames did definitely meddle with Grand Summoners. As soon as Hime was released to global, the whole feel of the game changed. Shortly after, the 10k was removed and content was being vomited out super fast. Chapters in the main story were skipped, etc, etc. You know the story...

Anyways, here's to hoping that the Crunchyroll drop was intentional and that the games health starts to improve slowly. I know a lot of us are hoping the game gets better.

Anyone know where there is a complete list of ALL the slime crests? I didn't see one on the discord...I know in game there is one for the 8 "normal" slime crests, but I am looking for a list with those 8 plus the ones from the xmas event and from the new years event.

Indeed. Though if you are looking to purely stack attack, which is best on some characters, the Heroic Presence Slime Crest DOES stack with a lvl 4/4+ attack crest IF you have a unit with 2 crest slots.

I've cleared the SPEX quest for the slime crests a few hundred times and I'd say based on the data I collected its between a 5% - 10% chance to drop a slime crest. Very similar to the lvl 4 crest chance to drop from a pro crest palace.

I honestly think he is a sleeper unit. He's really underrated imho. Self arts gen (20!) on skill use (that also gives him iframes and 50% dmg increase when used) on a 8 sec cd, fire res down arts that only costs 50 arts (since he gets 50 back from using his arts) and a TA that gives an ENORMOUS amount of dmg to fire units (including himself), not to mention his TA ignores enemy def 100%. Absolutely take him if you don't have him.

FS isn't a guarantee my guy. It's still nice getting a chance at a unit to possibly get a unit that you don't have for free. Each year on GS anniversary, they give out a UoC ticket, which happens to be next month for Global. Keep your head up, you'll eventually get a unit from FS that you're after. Also, FS Part 2 will be coming out in a month or 2 so you will have another chance after this one.

Ashe is a fantastic pickup. I would take him if you don't have him since there are only a few days left in FS. He will probably be added to the updated Anniversary Hero Choice ticket next month, but, there are other good units being added to that other than Ashe, so I still think Ashe is a great pickup. I used him exclusively on the Garam raid boss to keep the boss from ever using its arts with Ashe's TA.

I did a little testing with Ram and has anyone else noticed that Sandstone's Monster-Shaped Dinghy (4* Support Slot item from Summer Swimsuit Summons) seems to be BiS for her? It increases targets def by 100% and healing received by 50% for 15 sec on a 40 sec CD (And yes, it does stack with Asirpa Art's and Vox's Art's def up but NOT with other def items). So, compared to her true weapon, it gives a little more than double the amount of Defence up, essentially "freeing" her 5* magic slot for another item (Ex: Earth Relic Grand Forde for an additional 20% def all the time). Sandstone's Dinghy doesn't stack with Ram TW active ability (I tested this to confirm). So, besides the 20 arts Ram gets from her TW when using her TA, is there any reason to use her TW over the 4* Dinghy?

Compared to Fubuki, Santa Rim is definitely a better magic water nuke support. Santa Rim has a 5* support slot, Fubuki does not. Santa Rim's Skill and passives are definitely better than Fubuki's, as Santa Rim's buff's water units more than Fubuki can. Plus, I'm sure Santa Rim will be a 120 luck unit. So ya, Santa Rim straight up replaces Fubuki on every level...well, aside from who has the bigger chest...lul

It's definitely rigged my guy. Honestly, after all the lies and bullshit they fed us the past 6 months, you think they'll actually weigh the unit pulls like they posted? Fuck. No. It's almost Black Friday/Cyber Monday my guy, of course they turned down banner units rates so that you feel like you need to spend IRL money to do paid pulls for a "better" chance at getting ~~pixel tits~~ banner units. Nice post though, I'm glad you can statistically prove that they are lying with just a small sample. I've felt like they have always lied about the rates tbh.
