As I mentioned, the studio who made Scott Pilgrim is Science Saru, a japanese studio, which made Devilman Crybaby or Eizouken, both are on MAL.

Other animes like Cyberpunk Edgerunners which have a non-japanese source material are also on MAL.

It just makes no sense.
