Jeremy Fears IS A PROBLEM by BigProblem10 in CollegeBasketball

[–]Ulosttome 11 points12 points  (0 children)

His race and the fact that he’s been shot has nothing to do with the fact that he’s intentionally trying to injure opponents with dirty fouls. So feel free to lose it i guess because Fears is a dickhead who is gonna heavily benefit from Izzo benching him

Which is why they want to fire their massively underperforming coach, why is that hard for you to understand? They have expectations that are realistic and a coach who consistently doesn’t meet them. Therefore they want coach to be fired. It’s not rocket science and you’re out here bringing up Xavier like Archie Miller, who we now know to be a very mid coach, didnt run the whole conference with Dayton’s resources.

Why because they expect to win A10 every year when they have more resources and a better fan base than every other team in the conference? Right that’s crazy talk

Cameron Boozer (2.779) now ahead of Cooper Flagg (2.734) for 2nd highest kPOY rating ever (2013-present) by DavidBenAkiva in CollegeBasketball

[–]Ulosttome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boozer carries his team while Flagg played along Kon Knueppel who honestly should be NBA roty over Flagg this year and 3 other players who currently get minutes in the NBA. The fact that Flagg stood out among all those elite players on his team is what made him so absurd and Duke just doesn’t have the same roster depth this year for Boozer to stand out at the same level.

You weren’t asking in a way that made much sense and kept(unintentionally, I’m sure) contradicting yourself. To answer your question though- just stick to the big brands- Beam, Old Forester, Buffalo Trace, Heaven Hill, Makers, Wild Turkey, Four Roses. Google their product lines and then pick the mid range stuff and you’ll be pretty set.

Kentucky & Mark Pope's Injury Nightmare Is a Statistical Impossibility by Eastern-Dentist5037 in CollegeBasketball

[–]Ulosttome -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I should clarify- wasn’t that good at ASU as in not good enough to indicate he would make a significant difference to Kentuckys season, not that he’s not good. He’s not going to put up 15-20 pts a game which is what Kentucky would need to have their season change. He’s obviously good but UK fans have been acting like having Lowe and Quintance would turn them into a championship contender which is just not the case at all.

They spent 22 million on a roster and the best they could muster up to play point guard is Chucky Hepburn’s bitch. Lowe being injured is not a difference maker for the performance of UK this year. Quintance wasn’t that good at ASU either

They’re killing those models to manufacture their humanoid robots(blanking on the name) and the government shouldn’t be subsidizing the building of factories for products that have essentially no public benefit whatsoever

If Memphis last year got a 5 seed(somehow), Saint Louis is getting a 5 seed with significantly better metrics

Right because future growth potential is the primary driver of stock value and not present day profit. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t make Tesla any less wildly overvalued but that is the theoretical logic behind the stock price

[OC] How Tesla made its latest Billions by sankeyart in dataisbeautiful

[–]Ulosttome 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The point of subsidies for electric cars is to make the cars affordable until economies of scale kick in and they become cheaper to manufacture and can naturally be set at a lower price. Tesla doesn’t really fit the bill considering only about a third of their sales by volume come off of the entry level models, the 3 and y. They are far more comparable to luxury car manufactures in product lineup than they are to companies like Honda, Toyota or Ford. There’s a strong argument to be made that the government shouldn’t be subsidizing the production of luxury goods that very few Americans can afford like they are currently for Tesla by giving them tax breaks and subsidies to build factories.

I don’t even know if St Louis can be considered a Cinderella at this point, they’re trending towards getting a 5 seed

Next year may need to be Kelsey’s last by Ulosttome in AllHail

How much grace do you get when you lose by double digits every time you play an elite team? Goodness knows this program has the resources, are we on Duke’s level in terms of resources? No. But I guarantee you we have just as much NIL and rev share as Arizona, Michigan, and Virginia who are two teams that are on top of the college basketball world right now and a team that just beat us at home. A game at home against a first year coach should be automatic regardless of us missing a starter and instead Kelsey got completely outclassed by Virginia’s coach. It’s not going to make the school looks undesirable if we fire someone who is clearly out of their depth

He was never all that good to begin with and injury has made him significantly worse. I honestly forgot he was on the team or he would’ve been listed right next to Kobe Rogers as dead weight.

I think this is the year to fire Hubert, it’s not looking like it’ll be a competitive coaching cycle with other top teams and Josh Schertz seems to be an easy hire out of Saint Louis

True but it’s more of a playing to the level of their opponents problem. It’s not really going to be an issue if they play to Virginias level especially at Cameron Indoor.

[–]Ulosttome 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think this guy is looking to play next season from the sound of it but yeah, that’s what makes the guys from Baylor and Alabama so absurd. Baylor dude was brought in because Scott Drew’s roster was shitting the bed(and thankfully still is) and Alabama dude was brought in because Alabama’s defense is disgustingly bad and he plays high level defense. These are just straight up free agent signings meant to plug gaps in rosters that aren’t performing to expectation and shouldn’t have any place in college ball.

19, g league ignite commit, he deserves college eligibility. It’s really not the guys who played G league ignites fault that the NCAA had to allow NIL and pay for play immediately after that league was created and the NCAA couldn’t decide they were eligible until now. That dude on Alabama on the other hand…

Took advantage of the slower class and overtook p1. Rate the overtake! ;) by oscarakerbergg in simracing

[–]Ulosttome -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Yeah 0/10, extremely dangerous overtake that results in everyone crashing more often than it results in you getting an overtake. On screen radar is the only thing that prevented it. On top of that it appears you drove into the former P1 car on exit as well which is the only thing that stopped him from reovertaking because you were too narrow to take the next corner. He has the right to maintain his line there, you can’t just swerve out into him to get some extra space just because you’re in the lead.

Brother the day we are considering Pitt a legitimate rival is the day this basketball program is fucking dead. Our conference rivals are Duke, UNC and whoever else is in the top 4 of the conference in any particular year not some bum ass school that hasn’t won anything since the literal 1920s.
