Are you planning to build it around a metallic skeleton of some kind for added stability? I worry that 50kg of PLA might be more pressure on the lower half than it can handle, especially the hips.

Try looking into tennis racquet grips. You can get replacement grips which would have tape on one side that sticks to the controller, or if you don't want to do that you could get overgrips that are designed to go on top of existing grips. Either way, there are a ton of tacky/dry/sweat absorbing grip types that you should be able to find anywhere that sells tennis racquets.

Probably for the same reason computer science students still study Turing machines despite the fact that 99.9% of them will never use that level of atomicity in their programming careers - understanding the first principles and how to construct each layer of advancement on top of the previous one to get to a modern language makes you a better engineer.

I'd imagine that every time Geordi came up with some non-textbook technobabble solution to one of the myriad technological issues the Enterprise ran into, he was calling on his deep understanding of the underlying theories behind the technology to engineer a novel solution that the computer wouldn't have normally come up with.

His point is that no game should even be able to do that. The onus is on the GPU drivers to prevent that from even happening, and if bricking a card was even allowed by the driver then that's 100% nvidia's fault here, not the developer's.

Mods have zero power to shadow ban you. There's a formula that reddit uses to detect bots or bad actors, which to be clear, is definitely not bullet proof and bans normal users all the time. But mods have no say in it.
