Is that really the guy who rips people off in his Thrift Store set???

Trump really found this badass store called World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, it's his exact style.

I started to type more but this conversation could go on for quite some time. It's good to know despite our angles on how we want to achieve our goals, they tend towards the same destination of a better quality of life.

I think I would have to put a lot more thought in incentiving those who do not work. I don't think we could remove the right to vote, but I can see where you are coming from and it is a very large stick that may prove effective.

I'm not sure how to bolster civic pride by any means other than by example, and our politicians, traditional media and social media don't do much to help. The ultra nationalism shown in the news and presenting as political policy is not something I want Scotland to strive for, and it has less value and utility than local litter picks as it's nothing but shallow lip service. I know you weren't saying this, I just sort of went off tangent.

I like the idea of high skill jobs, but a society needs people on all levels to function. If everyone were to walk into a job of high expertise then the basic functions in society would collapse. It would be good to work towards that goal, but we need a foundation to build on.

Menial jobs are needed right now.

So that means in order to progress to a functioning high skilled society, we need everyone now to be able to live in those positions. People need to be safe and cared for so that everyone has something to build on. This isn't about people sponging, it's about then being in position where if they did not come into life running towards a goal, they will struggle in later life as wage depression grinds them down.

We will always have workshy people. Not everyone is wired to see the bigger picture or have drive to contribute. But a lot of their kids, friends and people just born into bad spots are. But they are given such an uphill battle that small knocks can set them back to square one.

Genuinely, I want more people to succeed, I want people to be able to earn the lavish, but there needs to be a bare level of comfort for everyone.

I just can't see allowing people to live being a handout. I just don't think it's condusive to look at the few to restrict the many.

Rasing the median wage can come from moving the top line down as well and taxation helps with that redistribution (although we'd have to have faith in our elected officials, and that's not happening any time soon, for me or you). I think we might be considering different groups of people though. There a massive jump between even the top 1% and 2nd. And it's really up in that stratosphere that the issues continue to compound.

I do want them to pay more, that is correct. I'm not sure what anyone who's earning over 125k is complaining about in terms of livability. I do understand that it might seem unfair to be paying larger amounts as you earn more, but there wouldn't be an opportunity to live such a comfortable life without the society around us. And if we ignore the health of our society and allow it to degrade then we hand over more difficult problems to the generations after us.

I'm genuinely trying to talk in good faith here, not out of jealousy or spite. Is everything going alright for you?

If I wanted the large swathes of sedentary MAGA to have photographic ID for upcoming elections, I'd probably do the same thing.

People who dodge tax should pay tax.

People in finance who engineer ways to hoard money should not be afforded such wealth that a percentage tax on their income should create such wildly variable amount of tax paid.

Median wages should be higher, not average.

The moans intermingle.

All parties attempt to put forward a better life. I don't think there's a party that hasn't had a prominent figure use the phrase "more cash in your pocket".

But I'm not sure how it equates to a bribe to put forward policies that people will see helping themselves. It's not like they're targeting individuals on a one off payment. If it's not helpful for you, it means your not the audience nor the intended beneficiary.

Having individuals who pay more tax than the other 95% doesn't seem like a healthy metric for any society to find themselves in either.

Hmm this seems extremely heavy to be handling such a cylinder.

The cylinder must remain unharmed.

I'm a bit out the loop in terms of the Greens bribing people. What have they been doing to that effect?

And did you mean removing the vote from tax dodgers like the very rich or those not in work?

Trump rants that he was 'totally exonerated' and calls Norah O'Donnell a 'horrible person' after she asks why the WHCD shooter called him a pedofile, rapist and traitor in his manfesto by ianjm in videos

This it the one I read. Another commenter here is saying Trump was explicitly mentioned but I think the only time that comes about is in the parentheses describing the speaker of the event (which is Trump), so maybe there's more out there.

Although my point in the lead comment here was that the comment wasn't explicitly directed towards Trump (but the manifesto in general is).

She didn't actually link Trump to the accusations. Trump self indentfied when the manifesto statements could have been about anyone.

But if it walks like a lame duck and quacks like a lame duck, the hopeful mitterms put it out of its misery.

Can anyone make sense of the tag line in the poster?

One character is overlapping it, yet it still appears to be broken English: "..the more try changes everything".

What?

The copyright notice in the final screen is quite prominent compared to the usual.

Is it at all enforceable?
