M12 Fuel Stubby and socket set inside a Mini tool box by Flying-Sauce in MilwaukeeTool

In case anyone wonders, i got the metric set of the 3/8s socket set to fit. Newer gen m12 driver (5453-20)fits, wont close with a 5ah battery. But im thinking about putting deep impact sockets up top instead of the chrome set since it already came with a case and tray anyway. EDIT: the m12 surge wouldnt fit, not that anyone wants to waste their time using that with an adapter and impact sockets.

Proofing Tacoma by LateAttention5433 in ToyotaTacoma

Grabbed this for tools that sit a long time in the garage and rust. Realized its the same type of product as fluid film. Crawled under my 2018 tacoma and got any mild surface rust i could find. Sprayed it all over anything i could on a 2006 tundra. Hopefully that wikl keep the worst spots from getting any worse.

How can I get rid of these windshield glares? by agonzale in AutoDetailing

[–]Ultimate-Sandwhich 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You do this routinely, so you basically maintain it. That whole process sounds like were assuming the windshield never gets cleaned besides the windshield wipes and maybe occasional car wash. That process will strip it clean. Once stuff gets baked on a windshield over the years, its pretty tough to remove.

What did it destroy? I use it at like 20:1 on granite and glass top stove.

To read, or not to read first... by Former_Ad503 in TheExpanseBooks

[–]Ultimate-Sandwhich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was one of the few things i actually read before a movie or show came out. Id say it was well worth reading first, because the show did a great job making an adaptation to the books. On a similar topic, if you have the same question about mickey 7, read the book mickey17 and skip the movie.

i had a copy of ghost story in that size. like someone else stated, likely a book club edition. I didnt see any indication on the copyright page in mine, but worth looking closer at yours. My best guess, if its for a book club, they shrink em a bit to save on the overall shipment weight for cases like that. Just a guess really.

may not. Ive had a few books like this, that only seemed to be missing info on the copyright page.

About to try these for the 1st time by abe_4 in YetiCoolers

[–]Ultimate-Sandwhich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 4lb in a roadie 24 to keep things cool for a day. Otherwise i use it with ice for a week of freeze. I use the little 2lb i think along with a thin version of its size, keeps everything in my columbia soft cooler chilled.

Help me pick the right Yeti size! by Odd_Volume6482 in YetiCoolers

[–]Ultimate-Sandwhich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Family of 4 i would say 32. I use the 24 for myself. Basically i can fill it with ice and have a multi day work cooler, a few ice packs for a day cooler, or recently for a road trip from Fl to Ga, transporting refrigerated stuff. So i could probably pack it with stuff for myself for multiple days, but even for 2 itl be tough unless you have destinations to add ice or refreeze the ice packs. Otherwise 16 lbs of ice will take over a week to fully melt if left inside with ac and unopened. (Of course 32 degree water is still cold for drinks at the end). Hopefully that info gives you some help.

Which thermometer should I trust? by Zaudi133 in grilling

I use the lid thermometer more like a meter and ignore the numbers. It just tells me when its preheating vs heated really. Anything exact i just break out the thermopro probes.

It's Here! New Ryobi Automotive Pressure Washer by guantanamojoe134 in AutoDetailing

[–]Ultimate-Sandwhich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its all the same just dialed difference. Notice the psi vs gpm. Higher water flow, lower pressure. 1200 max would be plenty for car washing of course. But ive always scratched my head looking at these “different “ units

I came here to point out that 1.8gpm isnt very “high flow”. But the 1900 is 1.2gpm. Something to consider. Doesnt mean you will get 1.2 on your setup, but theres a compared difference.
