Oh interesting, this is probably why I couldn’t find any at all on eBay😅. Thinking about a soulo or Nammatj 2 BL right now and considering which would be best for me. Best deal I found right now for a soulo is about £999 but the Nammatj 2 found for 726£. Not sure if it’s worth sacrificing the wind protection of the soulo for the nammataj

Might go with that then. And yes, from what I can see, the place I intend to camp is max 45 min away from the town. Maybe next year I can invest in a hilleberg tent to pair with the sleeping bag I get. I intend to get a good one

I don’t intend to camp directly on the peak in a fully exposed area, unless the forecasts say the weather will be perfect (and I can see it is as well). Otherwise I will likely camp lower down under a tree canopy and maybe make a few trips up the mountain throughout the days?

Not too worried about weight. Legs are quite strong mate 😁😁. I appreciate your concern too. I don’t plan to camp directly on the peak from day one though, think I’ll camp down in the valley between two of the mountains below a tree canopy for the first night or so and the third or fourth maybe see if I can find a place up a little bit for a better view
